Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Tom Paint contained clumps of solids that could not be mixed into the paint even with and electric paint mixer. the paint had to be strained to get rid of the clumps. this paint may have been on the shelf too long. It is messy to strain oil based coatings. I think I will go to regular paint store for special coatings as the turnover there is greater for items like this.

We love killz primers, they work beautifully in one coat. It's the only primer we use!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ChefAlfredo Works great
This product works very good. It's oil based so have brush cleaner handy . Used it to prime old bedroom doors before painting. Also used it on the crown molding and walls.
The doors look new now as dose everything else.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by kkevic Kilz it the first time.
I like deep colors, I'm going to a lighter shade and want to get it right the first time. So Kilz has always worked for me in the pass, so I'm not going to change a good thing.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lilly Removed popcorn ceiling and used this to cover the water marks.
I used this product to cover water marks on the ceiling after I had removed the popcorn texture. Rolled on easy. The only downside to this product is that it seems to take a long time to dry and it has a very strong odor. Use in a well ventilated place.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Handyman Good product
KILZ is a good product. However it doesn't cover in one coat on rough surfaces like OSB. It is also very hard to clean up! I tried mineral spirits and it worked ok. I really needed acetone but didn't have any. I think it is too expensive for what it does. I bought cheap latex paint for 9 bucks a gallon at another store and covered the OSB in 2 coats. I wouldn't use it again on OSB. Ok for smooth surfaces.
