CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 36 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Paint, Best Results, Best Value!!!! I have used Kilz Paint for years....coverage is superb and the price is the most affordable on the market for the quality! Other retail brands cost double or more and yet, the quality is the same (or less) than KILZ. Save a ton of money and be happy! Buy Kilz paint! My sister thanked me for telling her about it to paint her home's interior and you will too :o) April 4, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by One coat coverage-even over dark blues and purples I had an investment property with dark blue and dark purple on the wall. HD tinted this with a light pale green. At first it doesn't look like it's going to cover. But just wait until it dries, it was PERFECT. No primer, no second coat. TOTAL time saver. Fantastic product, well worth it. June 22, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Ultra low VOC and nice coverage I have used most all of the paints available at the two big retailers and this paint is a great value. After painting my daughter's bedroom it was remarkable how little odor there was. I painted the door with another sheen and brand and that alone filled the room with paint odor but not the Kilz. The eggshell sheen is pretty similar to a satin but to the touch still has a bit of roughness. Not sure how it will endure a wipe down or spill in a kids room, but I will definitely use this in the rest of the house. Paint department did not have a color fan in case I wanted to see if any other colors were available, but it didn't matter this time. Definitely a thumbs up. February 10, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good stuff ! When i was left a house ,old and smelt like smoke.Ran to get a 5 gallon of Kiltz what a differnce with it,went back and bought 4 more ! Thank you for selling. March 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best paint I've used in recent years Within the past decade, many paints since lost their workability and reliability due to strict environmental regulations. As a result, many paints lost their durability and have not been formulated like they once were in the 90's. Many paints were known within the past years to not cover well, and not go on as they once did. I've used a wide array of professional lines paints and also those from big box stores, with none that I really liked all around. That is until I came across the Kilz Pro X 300 line last year in the summer of 2012. Was amazed on how smooth it went on, and really liked its consistency - not too thick and not too thin - just perfect! Covers really good, and eggshell produces a slight even sheen that many like for bedrooms and living rooms. I always apply 2 coats, no matter what type of paint so I can get the recommended mil thickness and for durability. I really like this line from Kilz - I'm certain it even performs better than some of the other high priced professional paints that are sold out there. Highly recommended, decently priced, and one of the best paints out there right now. See attached for the first room I painted with with this product over a year ago - still looks like a freshly painted room to this date, and customer was very satisfied with finished product. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Eve Mulder KILZ is a great product. My husband use to work at some apts in PCB, FL and he always used KILZ before painting the walls and ceilings. He also used in our house. Great product! March 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good Value Right before I bought this paint , I painted a room with the more expensive Behr paint and didnt think the expensive paint spread well. The Kilz spread nice and covered orange tinted walls with a light beige in one coat. I bought 5 gallons thinking I would maybe need 2 coats after reading a couple bad reviews saying they have put on 5 coats and it still didn't cover. This paint looks nice and even in one coat. I am just a homeowner and not a pro painter. I am very happy with the results and saved a few bucks. I would imagine if you where painting bare walls, you would need to primer first. Maybe thats where the more expensive paint with a primer in it would shine February 10, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by awesome product! I am a painting contractor who has spent more than 1 million dollars with Sherwin Williams over the last 10 years. over this past year I have used many paints from Sw, Ben Moore, Porter, ppg, Glidden, to test the products available on the market. By far the Kilz 330 is the best covering paint. It's final sheen is elegant enough, and it seems to go forever. It tends to seem a little gluey, but for the value it performs better than many $30 a gal. paints. also it doesn't spatter hardly at all while rolling. I would recommend to anyone who ever wants to paint any interior walls... and use the 300 dead flat for the ceilings. It is the deadest flat I have found on the market. August 22, 2012
