Customer Questions & Answers

How high of a temperature can this heater get the room to ? I want to get to 120 degrees.

Asked by: Martin
The only way this going to get room to 120 degrees F is if you use it in tiny 3X5 ft broom closet with insulation. It is only rated at a little over 5000 BTU. Portable shop heaters are not designed to run saunas, green houses, or other types of high temperature applications. If you want to do that, buy a commercial industrial wired unit that requires a 30A, 240V circuit.

Is this heater just for inermittant use, or will it operate over a longer term (8+ hours) without any problems?

Need an electric heater to keep bathroom pipes from freezing overnight, last heater was used, and dies after 2 nights. Also need to keep bathroom air warm (of course!)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from King Heater Well made little heater, good for under the desk to break the chill in our unheated field office. Well made little heater, made right here in the Pacific Northwest! Hard to find stuff made in America

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This heater does the job. This heater allows me to work in the garage when it is really cold outside. I have it in a two car garage. It keeps the garage warm enough for me to work in a hoody with no gloves. I do need to start it and let it run for about an hour in order to get the garage to a comfortable temperature. I am pleased with the purchase.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Heater Not what I expected.. Very little air comes out and kept blowing my fuse.. I am hoping it was a defect. I returned it back to the store and purchased a different brand..

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not worth price Does not move air fast enough. Very small space might work but not better than a $15-20 heater from Wal Mart

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not happy with product This product produces very little heat and should not be labled as a shop heater.
