Answer:
Yeah, 1800 watt means nothing to me either as a layman. However, when I visited a display at Costco, their inverter converts whatever you plug in And tells you how many hours you can use the stuff. Ie, a 30 amp, 15 watt battery fully charged can power a light bulb 70 some hours, and a small house fan at least 54 hours. So more batteries and more panels will get you more uses.

Rated 2.6 out of 5 by 7 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Insufficient Instructions Product arrived within 5 days of order. BUT the instructions were difficult to read for installation. There were NO diagrams or illustrations to help. It took a phone call to a (Korean) service center. After attempts to interpret the conversation, installation appears to be correct. Instructions did not give a blow-by-blow of how the generator would act will installing itself and charging the battery. HOWEVER, the unit does appear to do what it is supposed to do. April 15, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very poor support from KISAE manufacture. Use it to run a water pump for my pond. Work great for 7 months then the alarm come on when plug into the wall outlet. Contacted Kisae many times but no response from them. Noticed that the solar panels light on indicated that it still charge the battery so I add 3 more batteries and a 3000W inverter to the system and now it run all day and night on it own without plug it to the wall outlet. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by This is a small power source, know what it is before buying Understand what you are getting. This unit has an 80 watt panel and a 60Ah, 12V battery. It could run a full size refrigerator for about 1 hour (motor running for an hour) before completely discharging the battery - and thats with no other loads. The 80 watt panel will take 9 hours to re-charge the battery with no other loads. So, if the sun is out, you can run your frig for another hour the next night. January 21, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by BUY A CAR BATTERY/ FOR BETTER RESULTS THE ONLY APPLIANCE THIS UNIT WILL RUN FOR MORE THEN 5 MIN IS A 75 WATT LIGHTBULB;!!! AND THAT IS FOR NO MORE THEN A FEW HRS!! I SPENT $ 1500.00 ON A LIGHTBULB. AND TRY TO RETURN THIS ITEM.?// HUH.GO FISH.YOU WILL BE STUCK WITH A [NOW ON SALE]$999.00 CANDLE .!!! TAKE WARNING July 12, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Glorified phone charger Before Sandy hit we had lost power several times in the 5 years living in our home. So I prepped by buying a gas and this solar generator. Much to my disappointment the unit does not perform like advertised online. It will NOT power on any old TV, Microwave, Refrigerator, etc. The box that arrives clearly states all the details. Most items will work but they need to be ultra low wattage and will only last for 45 minutes. Hardly worth the entire days charge for a 45 min show. It charges well with the sun and is nice looking but it is a glorified cell phone charger. If it was priced at 350$ I'd say Great item but at 1499$ NO WAY! I returned it today and will buy a 7500 watt gas powered generator for half the price of this and it will run all my household stuff. Sell it for a low price and I will give it a thumbs up. Other than that it is not worth the price. November 6, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A product that you should have in case of emergency I bought this home solar kit a month ago and has been great We have a midle size travel trailer and at this time is very useful to enhance electricity power of it At home we use to connect the freezer and refrigerator to save energy! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by easy to use and understand Very easy to use and understand. Takes a littl longer to charge on sunny day than expected April 2, 2013
