We installed this bathtub about 3 1/2 years ago. It still looks brand new. I have always enjoyed soaking in the bathtub, and this is a fabulous tub for soaking! We will be buying a second one of these when we update our next bathroom.

Loved the look of the tub, I wanted a deeper soaking tub and this truly fits the bill. The tub did arrive with a few chips, I was just not into loading this heavy tub for a return and it was an easy cover up. I did find the tub for less later thus for good on value

The tub was actually a fantastic tub until 3 months in a cracked formed on the lower rear section floor and I am working with Kohler for some kind of restitution. The warranty states product only, so if the tub is replaced by Kohler I have to have new granite wall torn out to replace with no restitution. So I am stuck with a costly repair on top of the original remodeling costs.
The tub floor is soft at the rear section and besides a bed of mud additional support will be needed at installation. And they may not do it

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Grouchy Nice looking, solid, extra deep tub.
We ordered this tub partly because it went well with the Craftsman/Mission style of our older (1918) house. We had it installed by a contractor for our bathroom remodel. He wanted to just use the adhesive installation process, but I insisted that he also place the tub on a mortar bed. I'm glad that I did. The tub sits nice and solid, does not flex at all in use that I can detect. (other reviews I had read complained about it flexing. -- Mortar bed cures that!.) The stepped style of the inside of the tub makes it look narrower than most, but we have found it to be plenty wide enough for our needs (but we shower, rather than soak most of the time). The specifications for this tub say that it is acrylic. When it arrived, I looked underneath, and it looked like fiberglass. Closer examination revealed that it is actually acrylic -- about 3/16" thick, backed by fiberglass reinforcement. So the fiberglass is what you see on the underside but acrylic is the user surface that you deal with. We do like this tub. The only drawback is that it is a little difficult for my very short wife to step into because it is a little taller than the average bathtub. We put grab handles at both ends of the tub to aid getting in and out.

Archer tub fits in well in master bath remodel. Tub is fairly deep and not overly wide so utilizes less water and overflow is situated high in the tub and is attractive. Old tub was six foot and massive Jacuzzi tub. New one allowed for install of small shelf on side and rear of tub. Overall pleased with choice/value of this Kohler product.

I cannot speak to the installation because I had my plumber install it. But, I can highly recommend this tub if you want a true soaking tub. The water level was at least as deep as the garden tub in my previous home. Some bathtubs are advertised as "soaking" tubs, but upon further investigation are not deep because of the overflow function. Also, I was originally skeptical about the comfort, and at 5'2" I did not fill the entire tub, but it was very comfortable to recline in. The tub material also feels very sturdy, and it looks great.

I have installed 4 of these for clients and they are very happy with them. The slotted overflow design gives a very deep water level while keeping the tub height at a manageable 19" high. Definitely recommend this product!

I haven't use it yet, it was easy to install, and feels like good quality, Looks great. I think it is a little over priced, but I'm glad I purchased this one. It feels much stronger than the cheaper ones.
