Unlike most pedestal sinks, this one has a lot of horizontal surfaces to put stuff on. You can easily arrange a soap bar, liquid soap, razor, shaving cream, toothpaste, etc. on top. This sink works.

When I was picking out a new pedestal sink for our bathroom, I was constantly drawn to the expensive ones. I thought choosing this sink was "settling" but instead I absolutely LOVE it! It's pretty big, but I think that's a good thing, and even in our very small bathroom, feels like just the right size. The flat edge of the sink allows for setting things down-- contacts, toothbrush, etc. The height is perfect. The picture shows a linear edge that sticks out on the trunk of the sink, but this isn't what it looks like at all. It's smooth all around and very elegant looking. Don't waste your money one more expensive version of this. It's perfect and I would have paid more. It's also easy to install.

I love the stately shape and line of this pedestal sink. It looks perfect in my "updated" 163 year old home.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BigTom Looks very elegant and is a center peice pedestal.
I bought this pedestal sink because were remodeling our bathroom and wanted something that looked really high-end without the $500+ price tag.
We bought Archer Kohler pedestal because it had sharp lines and was one of the taller ones available. Installation was a breeze, but does require a helper (mainly to hold in place while you are marking and tightening the bolts). However, because the bolts are hidden for a custom installation look, using a socket wrench will make the job easier.
Over all, if this sink is in you budget, I suggest getting it. You will be glad you did!!!

During a recent bathroom remodel, I searched for the perfect pedestal sink that would look good in a small bathroom -- not overpowering but a sink that would make a statement in the room. I was getting frustrated when I found what I thought was "the" sink -- on line at the Home Depot site!! I was worried about purchasing such an important item without it being seen in person but I just knew this was the sink. When it arrived and the contractor eventually installed it, I was amazed -- it was everything I wanted -- the beauty of a pedestal sink that made a statement while being just one piece of a completely remodeled bathroom. I could not be happier and the addition of a colorful backsplash -- has helped make my remodeled bathroom dream come true. Now on to the kitchen remodel and I hope Home Depot will have the perfect cabinets for me!!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by teresa I am in love with this sink.
This sink looks great and has a luxury feel. The sink looks great in a small powder room. All the other sinks I looked at either looked like urinals or had a old fashioned look. This model was more transitional.

I love the look of this pedestal sink. It's a nice size, not too overpowering for a small powder room. I also love having just one faucet hole. The only thing to watch is the selection of faucet. I think a greater reach would be slightly better.

Installation is a little more involved than was expected, but ultimately made sense for the weight of the sink. The sink is super heavy, but is very sturdy once installed.
The sink does look great in our new bathroom, but given how easily it scratches I wouldn't recommend this product. I was so disappointed to see scratches on the top of the sink the very first day we had it installed. Even cleaning the sink, if you have a ring on, watch out! The ring is mark up the sink without anyway to clean it.
Over all its a beautiful pedestal sink, but the scratches simply ruin all of it's other great qualities.
