One day hot water was reduced to a trickle. Checked lines and valve for obstructions. None found. Called a plumber and he told me failure was within fixture itself. Feed valve from house was free of any obstructions and water pressure was normal. Un-installed and returned to Home Depot. Installed a new one. Worked fine for two days and then same issue. Checked under sink valve again for obstructions and all normal. Returned to Home Depot and purchased a Moen. Both Carmichael faucets were manufactured on the same day. Tag was visible with date. Must have been the Friday of a holiday weekend. Stick with Moen brand faucets. Plumber said the same.

BUT, my wife loves, loves, loves it. It has totally made her a happy woman. She says the color is perfect, the functionality is perfect. She especially loves the controls between flat spray and normal. She gives it ten thumbs up.

The faucet leaked from the attachment point between the sprayer attachment and water line attachment two months after installing - the leak drained from my kitchen, into the cabinets which are now water logged and down to my basement ceiling. Sad - Kohler was a premium product not long ago. What's happened to their quality control? I purchased the Carmichael after returning another Kohler faucet which leaked one (1) day after install. Come on, Kohler. Are you even trying?

It's the first time I've used a faucet with a pull-out sprayer. The handle took some getting used to, but when we tried them at the store, some of them seemed to swing all around and you couldn't figure out hot and cold. This one moved better. There is almost too much water pressure; my husband says it is because of the way the spout goes up and then water is forced down. It's very splashy and I have to be careful turning it on. That's the only downside to me. My husband installed it; he is good at these things. I noticed that someone else said they took out flow regulators or something like that; but we did not. Our clear soap came out of the dispenser blue, so we just kept pumping til it became clear. The sprayer is awesome and works really great. Truly sweeps things around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Faucet This faucet was fairly easy for me to install Looks great with our kitchen and has much greater water flow than our previous faucet. I had to replace it twice. Pfister did honor their warranty and they are sending us a new one to replace the one I just remove but I was tired of replacing it and we decided to try the Kohler faucet so far we love it time will tell how well it holds up.

I trusted Kohler brand and chose one more expensive than others on the store and hoped it worked well. Unfortunately, the design is very poor. It is too tall and the water stream is very hard. When I use it , water spills everywhere around the sink. I have to pull the spray head done and hold it with a chip in order to use it. See the picture. Of course it looks very ugly and my husband and children hate the way I did. I adjusted water under the sink to minimal as instructed by Kohler call center. It did not help. When my friends came to house and saw the ugly clip on the faucet head, they were very disappointed that Kohler designed a faucet like this. It has created a bad image for Kohler. Although I am able to return the faucet to home depot store, but I have to pay uninstall and another installation fee to the handyman. I purchased this faucet in home depot and have the handyman installed in my kitchen . It is for replacing previous Kohler faucet from the builder. The sink is Kohler too.

The water pressure is impressive from both the stream and spray feature. Materials and craftsmanship feel first class, extremely happy with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice faucet, so far, so good After a lot of consideration, I chose this faucet for its design, the magnetic head, and the brand. I like Moen and Kohler because of the limited lifetime warranty. Install was okay. We had a little trouble getting the weight in the right place. The sprayer doesn't retract as quickly or firmly as I expected, especially when pulled out as far as it will go. But, in normal usage, it never gets pulled out that far. I'm getting used to it, and maybe as the hose is pulled out more, it will become more flexible. It goes back in on its own most of the time. Water pressure is fine so far, and we have a well with a softener. I have a regular size, not super deep stainless steel double sink, and I haven't had any problems with the fan sprayer over spraying. I keep it in the sink, like I did with the old side sprayer. So maybe those who have issues with it getting everything wet just need a little practice. This faucet is very tall compared to my old one, but it works great. Now I have to get new counter tops and redo the kitchen to go with its more up-to-date style!!
