I never thought I'd write a review about a toilet, but here goes. I bought two of these toilets when my house was being renovated. In spite of getting a good price I found that they were expensive, $370 each. They came with the hidden toilet seat which I didn't like because it meant that my legs could touch the toilet bowl while in sitting position so I splurged and bought the other style of easy-close seat and cover. I don't recall the cost of those. Further, I found the flush sensors on sale at Home Depot for $43 each and bought two. I have come to really like not having to use the lever, whose cleanliness I could never trust. I have no regrets about the costs. The toilets have been in use for about two months. The finish on them is excellent so very little gets left behind. A quick little rub with the toilet brush immediately takes care of it. I find that the design is such that, regardless of the size of your "offering", the flush sucks it directly down.

Purchased in 2008. Works and looks fine but uses way more
water per flush than my older low flush toilets of a different
manufacturer installed in 1997. The non-Kohler toilets never require more than one flush. I found 4634HE stamped inside Kohler tank. Significant bio matter requires at least 2 flushes of the higher water flush. Even a tinkle requires the 1.6 gallon longer flush to get any tissue off the side of the bowl. I would rather have another of my 1997 low flush toilets ANYDAY and they cost a fraction of the Kohler price.

Because of the weird bowel opening at the bottom of the bowl this toilet cannot be plunged. It took forty minutes, no joke, to unlcog this toilet after it stopped up. I literally got a workout doing it and I suppose the clogged up toilet paper eventually brokedown and allowed the toilet to flush.
I called Kohler about this and they said it's a known issue, yet they were not smart enough to fix it. The new Cimarron and similar models have the very same issue. Kohler suggested a special type of plunger which we bought and paid extra money for yet it also could not plunge the toilet. Aside from this whenever anything gets caught on the sides of the bowel, it will not flush because of the way the toilet is designed.
We are getting rid of this toilet and I cannot wait to flush this toilet in a dumpster--goodbye Kohler!

This is the second one of this exact product we have had installed and chose it specifically because we were very pleased with the first. This second is equally satisfactory.
