My husband and I decided approximately 2 years ago to splurge and buy a Kohler faucet. We figured that Kohler was the Cadillac of plumbing and would last us a very long time. Fast forward 2 years and the faucet is leaking water out of the sides which destroyed our countertop. How can a Cadillac product become defective after 2 years of mild use?!? I am profoundly disappointed. Because it is out of warranty we now have to suck up a $200+ loss plus replace a countertop. Most people cannot afford to pay out $200 every couple of years for plumbing fixtures that are meant to last 10+ years.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by 2tfrut Replacement for one that started leaking after 7 years
Bought this as replacement for identical one installed 7 years ago that started leaking from the inaccessible center where all the pipes come together in the head. Didn't see one we liked better/as well, so just got another of these. Difference is the spray head has a narrow beam instead of the wider one the first one had. Isn't as nice to use but guess it's some designer/managers idea of progress. Sure wish I could get one of the old ones. Overall, I was disappointed the first one failed after only 7 years normal use but decided to get another one just like it anyway. What does that say?

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Lori Quality has gone down
I bought this faucet 10 years ago and have loved it for the past 10 years. Recently my house cleaner used something harsh on it to clean it and it totally messed up the finish. I ordered the exact model number from 10 years ago but when I got this new one it is not nearly as nice as the original one. It's much lighter in weight and I don't think it is going to last as long. It still looks nice but it isn't the same quality as the original. I wish I could have got it in store vs having to order online, then I would have known what I was getting and may have chosen something different.

i had a very good experience, as the sales person who helped me, order the kitchen faucet to help me. He found it on the computer and had it shipped to my home. I received it in about three days. I always like going to my local Home Depot, as the are always eager to help me and if they can't, they get someone who can.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by MorningPhoenix Kohler Coralais Black Single Handle Kitchen Faucet
Purchased Feb 2016, now Mar 2016 - LOVE this faucet! If it continues to work this well after several years, it deserves 5+ stars.
Our sink is a 90s stainless double sink, and the faucet bib extends just slightly into the bowl. The standard height and position is almost perfect for most uses. The arm easily adjusts the water temperature to what ever you need. When using the sprayer the water pressure is strong, stays on spray until you release it, and is a dream to maneuver.
Photo taken before being shined up, and it's not too ugly!

You shipped us a faucet that was defective. Had to contact Kolher and request replacement parts. They were very helpful. All you guys had to do was inspect the faucet before shipping, if you had you would have seen the busted bonnet.

The whole faucet package is very well designed. Unlike most dual-spray faucets, this one opens in the state (flow vs spray) in which you left it during last use. Good water pressure too. Installation was really easy in my particular situation, where access to the faucet from underneath was encumbered by the deep sink. You tighten the elliptical threaded ring by hand and then tighten two screws with a screwdriver. One word of caution: make sure that you have enough space between the axis of the opening for the faucet and the wall on one side and the sink on the other side: the threaded ring is 2 1/4" at its widest (see specs).
