Customer Questions & Answers

spray feature

When using spray button, must you hold button down or can you let go and spray stays? Are there 2 different spray features?
Asked by: suzanne
When you press the button for the spray option the water flow remains on. There are two spray options. The top or third button works like a pause button. When it is depressed the flow of water stops, but once it is no longer depressed, the flow of water continues.

I purchased the first one in 2013 and loved the faucet so much that a I purchased a 2nd one for my other home. The second one has failed completely and was clearly not the same quality of the first one which is also having issues. The second one is barely having any water coming out. We took the pull down piece off and there is plenty of pressure, we cleaned it out but it still is failing with barely any water coming out once re assembled. The original one is having trouble with the just the hot water with barely any pressure, took it apart again but unable to fix.

It looks great and performs very well. The pull-down sprayer works great and will splash if the water is turned on full force (which is not necessary for a forceful spray). We did have to put the handle to the front due to a lack of space but I actually prefer that. I keep the spray and stream buttons in the front too for convenience. We were lucky enough to find a Glacier Bay RO water faucet that is a close match. So far, so good for both of them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lifetime warranty - no brainer My five year old kitchen faucet was leaking behind and under the sink, so I went shopping. A replacement from the same company as the one I had cost half what the Kohler cost. But the warranty was only 1 year. Because the old one failed outside the warranty, I was stuck. So I figured with a lifetime warranty, how could I go wrong? Installation was easy, and once installed, the quality of the product really shines. The control is extremely smooth. With the removable sprayer head and the controls on it, it makes doing work at the sink so much easier. It's worth twice the money as the other guys, because it's a better faucet, and it has a lifetime warranty.

Second faucet had a defective o-ring where the spray hose connects to water line. Had to return the faucet to Home Depot. Cost $80 for a plumber to tell me that little factoid. Third faucet was just installed. If this one doesn't last then I will be turning to a different manufacturer. My $180 faucet has now cost over $400.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not what I had hoped for. This faucet is... Not what I had hoped for. This faucet is flimsy compared to the one we purchased last year. We wanted the same thing but apparently it was no longer available.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Completely satisfied with this product. I purchased Kohler "Cruette" Model # K-R780-VS in July, 2014 and it is perfect for my needs. Kohler and American Standard seem to be the only 2 companies that have a “Sleeve” attached to the faucet whereby the “sleeve” is going thru the counter top and the tubing / water lines run thru the sleeve instead of directly thru the counter with some flimsy clip to hold it in place. ( The prior “Delta” faucet I had gave me all kinds of trouble because the faucet “pull-out” hose was always getting jammed in the tubing going thru my granite counter top. The other prerequisite I had, was “adjustable flow rate”. Without this feature, the water would certainly be splashing all over.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks great, works great We originally planned on buying a faucet of a competitor, but the soap dispenser on the competitor felt plastic and low quality. The Koehler’s soap dispenser is very nice. Another consideration was how the pull down nozzle feature worked and retracted. There is a donut shaped weight on the hose – below the faucet, under the cabinet. I like this simple solution for pulling the nozzle back into place. Others use a magnet which is great as well, but we like the look of the Koehler better. No issues. We did NOT use the trim plate on the counter. The faucet goes directly though the granite counter top hole, for a clean look.
