Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Anne I would buy again, BUT with a major caveat! I purchased this sink five years ago. I am now having to buy another one because the original has rusted all around the rim underneath, and, bec of the rust, big chunks of the enamel are chipping off along the edges. BE AWARE: RUST DAMAGE IS NOT COVERED UNDER KOHLER'S WARRANTY! Given the dimensions of the sink cutout and its shallow depth, unless I replace the countertop, I don't have many options. And the sink is beautiful.
I contacted Kohler and they told me that rust damage is not covered by the warranty. Kohler said that the sink was poorly installed or I didn't use silicone caulking. The sink was professionally installed and we did use silicone caulking. There is evidence that some water got through the caulking in the back of the sink near the faucet several years ago. We replaced the faucet and had the sink recaulked, again with silicone). But on the other three sides of the sink, also with major rust problems, there are no signs of major water issues. I don't know if there was a condensation or a humidity issue (I have a quartz countertop)? The original installers did put some glue on the countertop, which may have interfered with the seal or didn't let the sink rest evenly on the countertop? I don't know. But it clearly only takes a little water to cause a whole lot of damage. The iron edge of the sink sits on the countertop and if water touches the iron, it has nowhere to go. By the time the rust eats thru the caulking and is noticeable, the damage is done. When I spoke with Kohler, they were very aware of this problem, so I think this is more a design flaw than the case of an unusually bad installation.
So my review is this, the sink is beautiful. You do need to get a single tall faucet to avoid splashing. We did, and never had a problem with water splashing out. You also might need to get a pop up drain, because there is little room for the drain plunger behind the faucet. YOU ALSO NEED TO BE VERY AWARE OF THE RISK OF RUSTING, which I do not believe is simply a caulking issue, but is rather a design flaw. Be proactive, and check the sink periodically from underneath. Remember the warranty is worthless in this regard on this $400+ sink! I am thinking of spraying some rust preventing enamel on the bottom of the new sink, and keeping my fingers crossed!

I really like the way this sink looks on top of my Quartz counter top. Very modern design! Fits in well with my decir

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Chicken The look of a vessel sink without the additional height.
I am very happy with my Kohler Wading Pool sink. I had it installed in a 36" vanity and like that it has the look of a vessel sink without being too tall.. The quality of the sink is great. Most widespread bathroom faucets don't fit it well, however, so I advise getting a tall single-hole faucet (wish I had done so.). They are more expensive, but I think the end result would have looked better. I ordered it online from Home Depot and it was shipped directly to my home within just a few days, well packed and in perfect condition.

This sink has the advantages of a vessel sink, without the problems. We looked at a lot of sinks and kept coming back to this Kohler. A pattern for the cutout is supplied and even for this amateur do-it-yourselfer the installation was a breeze. The countertop is inexpensive Formica brand Indian Slate. Sink is almond, with Home Depot's Jeffrey Court Yacht Harbor Slate trim panel which matches our baseboard and shower accent strip.

I ordered these sinks when we decided redo our bathroom coutertops. I have to say that these sinks really make a statement in the bathroom. The countertops look great, but the sinks are like the artwork on a freshly painted wall!
The one con about this sink is that it is a shallow wading lavatory so it is easier to splash water outside the sink. It works fine with adults, but would not recommend for a child's bathroom.
All in all, I would recommend this sink for a stylish bathroom makeover!

We have yet to install these sinks (3) as we in the midst of building. I have searched and researched hundreds (literally) of products online, read all of the reviews, viewed every picture possible and could not find a sink I liked better. Since we were not ready to install, I put off purchasing the sinks. When I noticed the price increased substantially on one site to match the list price on most other sites, I found these at Home Depot for WELL below the list price. I purchased all three and put in storage. Every review I have read about this sink has been very positive - minimal splash, stylish, great quality, etc. I don't think I will be disappointed.

love the shape and design. When water is flowing hard it does splash up over the vessel. It isn't a huge amount, but enough that I wouldn't give it 5 stars.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TMac not the same old sink
Viewed hundreds in Home Depot and sister store Expo design (and other home stores) before committing to this particular one...not your standard sink design, without being crazy different. Ordered the sink in white (or the word they used for white)
the cast iron feels nice and substantial. Only concern, pre ordering, was the no overflow drain hole...so far not a concern.
Installed 2 in granite counter with drawer only underneath..no base cabinetry, very modern/traditional blend ???transitional??? did not put in such a high faucet as the picture...(Grohe tenso) excellent decision.
