Answer:
There are some plastic parts but they are not visible to the person using the faucet or soap dispenser. The soap dispenser should be filled from the top. You simply pull out the pump handle and pour in the soap.

Answer:
yes, it can be installed left, right or front facing, though not certain of the ease. I used a plumber and he offered me the alternatives to place, which I chose the right side (as I am right handed). I would imagine that left could require no more than a longer hose.

It can go to either side. However, standard three hole openings will force you to put dispenser on opposite side of control lever, due to height of soap dispenser.

Answer:
The hose retracts into a pull-out spout and is tensioned by a weight attached to the hose under the sink. By the way, where you position that weight determines how much hose can pull out of the spout and thus determines how deep the sprayer can go into the sink. I found the weight is sufficient to pull the sprayer back into the spout securely with no droop.

did not feel magnetic so I would say it was a docking, which docked securely. It did not feel as though the pull out would hang limp or fall out of the dock. Also, it was not difficult to dock (no force, just drop back in the opening).

I bought this faucet in last November. Today, when I turned on cold water, only saw water dripping. The hot water has no problem. All other faucets in the house have no problem. What is wrong with this new faucet? Thanks.

Answer:
Since you had cold water before, there are a few things that could cause you to loose cold water, almost all of them need to be checked by a plumber or by the person who installed the faucet. A clogged cold water line, a clogged cold water shut-off valve under your sink, a clogged cold water path through the faucet itself.

Answer:
This is 2 things, either you have sediment in the line clogging it or its a $12 part (GP1093674).
Unhook the cold line from the faucet and run it to a bucket to test the line, if that works then disconnect the spray hose line and run that to a bucket, if that works, then buy the $12 part

Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 32 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Water flow is constantly being restricted by shut-off valve in spray This faucet has a button on the spray head you can press in to stop the flow of water. The button never fully disengages and so the water volume is constantly being limited. Every so often, I pry out the button with a knife, and the flow is okay for a day or two. And then it engages again, and the flow is restricted. A replacement head costs $50+. I expected much higher quality for the cost of this faucet. June 4, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Awful - stay away The water sprays all over the place - awful! Do not purchase this! April 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love I absolutely love this faucet. The plumber installed with ease and it looks great. I definitely recommend especially if you are going for a contemporary look in your kitchen. April 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Change Appliances have to change faucet to match Faucet is perfect match to new appliances. Was no trouble to install and has great control. The sprayer works at a low setting for rinsing. February 25, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great result, nice performance, a bit tricky to install Product very nice; very pleasant operation in 'stream' mode, and a bit forceful in 'spray'. As others have said, the spray gets a bit 'splashy', but great for driving stuff off the plates and glasses. The height of the head above the sink makes it easy to get big pots underneath, and makes it simple to work underneath. Installation was a bit trickier than I've been used to with other faucets. Needed to cut off some plastic piece on the hose (didn't know what the items was for), and the weight was crimped on that had to be removed for it to fit through my install hole. Thus, I needed anther way to reattach the weight (used a hose clamp that I had to provide). Getting the small nuts on the hold down studs was a bit tricky as well. Overall, not difficult, but I've had much easier installs (including the Kohler product that I took off to install this one). The finished result was very pleasing. Install of the soap dispenser was easy after I cut the hole, which was pretty simple with the right tool also from THD. January 11, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product I picked this product for the quality you expect from a Kohler product and the modern styling of the faucet. I have not been disappointed. It has great water pressure and the button to toggle between spray and stream is easy to use. January 15, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Faucet This faucet was easy to install. The worst part was getting the old faucet out. It is easy to operate. There is a swivel attachment on the sprayer which makes it very easy to use. The faucet height is high enough to get all of our large pots under it for washing and filling. What we liked about the height was that the height of the faucet is also the height of the pull-out spout. Other faucets were much taller, yet the height of the water spout was not as high. The finish on the faucet is very nice and doesn't seem to get water spots. The sprayer has a pause function that works very well, and the faucet head swivels 360 degrees if needed. Good purchase. January 24, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Faucet I wanted a faucet that would allow me to fill large pots in my sink. This one fills the bill, however, because it is so tall water splashes everywhere so I wind up wiping down around the sink almost every time I use the faucet which is kind of a pain. However, I still really like the faucet and the line that pulls out is much smoother than my last one which eventually frayed and was very hard to even get out. September 2, 2015
