Product Overview

A stylish alternative to walk-in and institutional-looking options, the Elevance Rising Wall bath offers the relaxing bathing experience you desire, with added accessibility. This bath is designed to allow you to sit down with ease as soon as you enter, unlike walk-in or traditional baths. It is sized for a standard 5 ft. alcove so it can replace an existing bath or be used in new construction. We've engineered this bath to meet ADA guidelines for years of independence, comfort and safety. The rising wall lifts with just one hand---with less effort than lifting a 1/2 Gal. of milk. It locks into place easily, and two watertight seals inflate to prevent leaks. The bath drains in less than two minutes. Simple tap the drain with your toe and lightly touch a secondary drain on the rising wall. The Elevance Rising Wall bath’s soaking depth, together with the footwell and comfortable contoured back, allows you to lounge in a relaxing, deep soak instead of stilling upright. The extra-wide opening and chair-height seat let you enter and exit the bath safely and comfortably.

  • Extra wide opening, chair-height seat and integrated grab bar ease entry and exit from a standing, chair or wheelchair position
  • Easy to lift rising wall requires less than 5 pounds of force to raise and lower
  • Dual leak-proof seals are backed by a lifetime limited warranty when installed by a qualified installer
  • Dual drain system empties the bath in less than two minutes
  • Integrated waterfall fill enhances the bathing experience and fills the bath in just 3-5 minutes
  • An integral ledge on the back wall lets you easily reach the optional handshower, deck-mount faucets and your personal items while bathing
  • Integral footwell lets you easily test the water temperature and allows your body to recline, relieving pressure on your back and knees
  • Acrylic surface is easy to clean and maintain
  • Fits into standard 60 in. alcove space

Customer Questions & Answers

Can I reach the controls from my wheelchair to start the water and regulate the temperature before entering the tub?

Asked by: Roxy
The controls for mine are on the back wall. Probably a reach for someone in a wheelchair. I don't see why they could not be on a different wall, like by the water outfall. They are separate from the tub. The layout of your bathroom may determine where the controls are most accessible. This is not a tub that you fill and get in. You can only get maybe 3 inches in the foot well before you need to be in the tub to raise the door. Unless the door is up, the big drain remains open and acts like an over fill to prevent flooding. My set up has an on and off valve separate from the temperature control valve. Set the temperature and forget it. Reaching the drain at the bottom of the foot well might be an access problem. It is a push open and closed type. Might need a stick or something to do that. Hope I helped.

Hi, this is Laura with Kohler Co. I am happy to assist you with your question. The seat is 19" high, this is chair height. The bather sits on the seat and then swings their legs into the bath. Can this accommodate bariatric obese customers

Can this accommodate bariatric obese customers, i.e. weight limit (350-500lb persons for example)? wider width options perhaps a double seater? This seems ideal in theory, but I think the door might not close for an extremely larger person who has all the same needs. Can it be customized?

Customer Reviews

Elevance Rising Wall Left-Hand Drain Bathtub in White is rated 2.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Do I have a lemon? This is a good looking fixture. A really great idea, but not well executed at least in the one I have. The tub is easy to get into and deep for soaking. The air bubbles feature works well and is self cleaning. My problem is that the computer controlling the tub's functions seems to be prone to malfunctioning and trapping you in the tub. I thought I would have to call 911 to get out the first time. The door would not deflate and could not be lowered. My husband was able to get a tech rep to talk him through manually deflating the door seal. Luckily he is agile enough to remove the lower panel, get on the floor and pull the electrical plug on the computer. Plugging it back in resets the computer and allows the door to deflate. It does not happen often. Twice in about the year I have had it, but it does negate the idea of independent bathing. Someone needs to be there for malfunctions. Too bad. I really like the tub otherwise, but it is too expensive to have an unsolvable problem. Kohler reps have been out each time, but are unable so far to solve the problem. If this problem could be fixed, it would be 5 stars all the way.
