This is a great sink. However, if you are replacing an older sink that has a metal ring (hudee ring) around it and you are not replacing the countertop, the hole may be slightly too big. You need to keep the metal ring so the sink can sit on top. So be careful when removing the old sink and ring. Clean up the old ring by removing the old caulk. Re-caulk and set the rink around the hole, then set the sink on top, and caulk around the sink. It looks great and much better quality than the old contractor grade sink that it replaced.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by bradleymd Pretty cool sink
I have no idea what the purpose of the ripple sides is but it looks cool and more upscale I suppose. We had a small countertop (47") and wanted two sinks so this slightly smaller sink fit well and doesn't feel too small. We put one of those Moen faucets with a high neck on it and it looks outstanding. Only issue is either the sink or the standard drain thingy or the installation (which was professionally done) prevents water from fully draining. About 1/16" of water sits at the bottom of the sink constantly, but they could be any number of things and I'm trying to reset the drain to fix that. When you order the sink, make sure you get the right hole size for the faucet you select. My Home Depot contact had listed the 8" span on our order sheet but I realized before we ordered that a 4" span is what we needed.
