Rated 5.0 out of 5.0Â by Deborah Finally, a Solid Kitchen Faucet
After several faucet replacements by family members over the past 10 years, I finally had a pro install this Kohler faucet. The faucet is shorter than previous ones and sits securely atop the sink with no wiggle. The pull-out sprayer changes easily from stream to spray and gives me all the flexibility I need to deal with sink cleaning and large pots and pans. The Fairfax faucet is a solidly built, high-end, but no frills solution to our kitchen needs.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0Â by KateSeattle Good for the first 2 years then ...
Perhaps I am old fashioned, but I expect appliances and faucets to last more than 6 years. We put this faucet in our kitchen 7 years ago. We have to replace the entire faucet this month. The top cracked a year ago and I have just lived with it. Now it is leaking where the pull - out hose joins the faucet and I must replace the whole thing. Very disappointing. And it is not cheap.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0Â by Dave Buying another just like it. Great Looking
Owned since 2007. In the process of kitchen remodeling, the contractor seems to have caused this faucet to leak around the stem. I am told this often occurs when reinstalling an old faucet. Membrane Switch on pull out handle that selects aerated spray or non-aerated malfunctioned within the warranty period. I called Kohler and they sent me a replacement free of charge, very cooperative, including freight, no questions, which I never replaced as we just suffered through periods of working or not working. We are going to buy another one, just like this. We like the style. I have a replacement switch so if I have problems with that I have one to use. Home Depot price is better than we paid in 2007. I am OK with this faucet if I get 10 + years of use out of it, then the next homeowner can deal with it. Really great looking faucet.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0Â by Paul888 Heads-up! Touch Control Cover Problem
I have been a Kohler customer since 1987 and i hope this little problem doesn't change my mind. Over all this faucet works as it should and works well. However, after 18 months of use (new construction) the black, rubber-like touch control cover on the spray head has worn through. Not a problem until I look for the cover as a replacement part. Guess what? Kohler's website does not offer just the cover as a replacement part. It appears one must buy the sprayer assembly or the entire faucet. Well, the costs for that range anywhere from 130.00 on up depending on your finish! For my finish i am looking at nearly 200.00 to over 300.00 ! In all fairness to Kohler I am writing this on a weekend and have yet to call Kohler direct (they are open M-F). Should they not be able to supply just the cover I will have to look at other namebrands as I cannot fathom having to spend that amount of money JUST to remedy a touch control COVER problem! If Kohler can supply screen/washers, restrictors,o-rings, etc for this model, it seems to me they can supply us with a simple touch control cover that will in most cases weqr out before the life of the other parts.
