Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Rusts and looks horrible after use I hate when people review a product they just bought and have no idea if it will last. Well I know this sink will rust after 2 years of use and Kohler will not replace it. When I installed this sink in 2004, it looked great. It was very heavy and hard to install by myself, but I thought it would last a long time. After two years of use, the area next to the drain started to rust. I thought it was a bad drain assembly and replaced it. It did not work. The sink was rusting from under the enamel. When I contacted Kohler about replacing a defect sink, they said they do not warrant the sink from rusting and directed me to a website on how to remove rust stains and paint enamel on the sink. After the drain hole started rusting, Kohler sent me a ferrule repair kit which consisted of a plastic ring and a tongue depressor. DO NOT BUY THIS SINK. You will be disappointed after it starts rusting. Kohler will not warrant it because it rusts. Please realize I live in the New Mexico desert and it is not humid here. Nothing rusts here. Ever. Except this sink. Did I mention not to buy this? January 31, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Overflow area rusts over time Although an attractive sink, This cast iron product is not properly enamaled in the overflow area or on the underside. Over several years, rust can appear in the overflow area or along the rim. We had to purchase this sink as an exact replacement for an 8 year old one because we had cut the granite out to fit it. The new one still hadn't solved the problem of incomplete enameling in the overflow area. We had to apply an anti- rust paint treatment- POR 15 to treat the overflow and rim. February 26, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by rusted in 13 years I had porcelain cast iron sinks installed new in my master bath. After 13 years the porcelain failed and ugly rust spots emerged near the drain areas. I now have to get them replaced, but with pure porcelain November 25, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just like the Old Days Here is a product that is not only a reasonable price in today's market, but still has the look, feel and sturdiness of the lavatories we still remember. It is not as heavy as it may appear and installation is easy. The lavatory is deep and well shaped to prevent unexpected spashes for high water pressure. The holes are well centered and adequate for 4" faucet assemblies that it calls for. Just a good basic design lavatory. June 8, 2009

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Looks Great This is a one to one replacement for the previous Kohler sink... looks much better than the old one which was 30 yrs old and lost its shiny finish. Easy installation and looks great paired with American Standard's "Standard Centerset" chrome faucet. This sink is a great value. April 4, 2009
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Overflow Drain Opening Area Rusts soon after use The overflow drain area soon rusts and causes the porcelain enamel to chip away (delamination) from the area. So, you get ugly brown / orange rust stains and enamel flaking away. I popped of the plastic circular ring that surrounds the overflow opening edge to discover the problem. Its an enamel coating problem - or lack of it! Kohler does not coat this edge area with enamel - its plain cast iron. Of course its going to rust!!!! KOHLER NEEDS TO IMPROVE THIS PRODUCT - IT IS DESIGNED TO RUST!!!!! July 28, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love it Had one just like it that we liked so replaced with the same except this one has different facet placement, old one had started to rust around the drain, glad to find the same, it fit the table exactly. June 10, 2014
