WILL THIS FLAPPER MODEL WORK ON A KOHLER K3323 SANTA ROSA? THE FLAPPER MODEL i AM LOOKING FOR IS 85655 FLAPPER, HOWEVER, IT DOES NOT COME UP ON THE SEARCH FIELD. I WILL BE TRAVELLING TO NEW YORK NEXT WEEK. IS THERE A STORE WHERE IT IS AVAILABLE? THE KOHLER REPLACEMENT PARTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE IN TORONTO

Thank you for your inquiry. If I understand the question correctly, you are asking if there is some other type of seal that fits between the flapper and the tank? If so, the answer is no, there is no additional part. Also, please be aware that the correct flapper for the K-4620 tank is a different part number: GP85160. We linked you to this parts page below.

I just purchased a GP 1078440 flapper valve replacement for a one-piece toilet, and it appears to look exactly like the part that needs replacement, but the flapper will not seat at all. I need to determine the model number of my toilet.

This is a common problem or at least it has happened to me as well. I think your going on line to the toilet manufactures website will give you a really good clue to what flapper is required; there are many look alike. Also when you go back to Home Depot, bring the manufacturers model name or number for that toilet with you and see if you find it listed on one of the flappers on the shelf; usually listed Read More

I think your going on line to the toilet manufactures website will give you a really good clue to what flapper is required; there are many look alike. Also when you go back to Home Depot, bring the manufacturers model name or number for that toilet with you and see if you find it listed on one of the flappers on the shelf; usually listed on the back of the package. Bring the old one or a photo of it as well. If that doesn't help, I strongly suggest you ask the Home Depot plumbing assistant for help. Read Less
