Answer:
We installed the door noted below into our shower. Its easy to assemble and looks good. The only thing to be watchful of is not to tighten the clamps that hold the door to the frame too much as the clamps are quite fragile

Answer:
Thank you for your inquiry - Kohler would recommend either the K702406-L-MX (clear glass with nickel framing) or K702406-G65-MX (falling lines glass with nickel framing). Both work with an open between 32-1/2” – 34” and a height of 65-1/2”. Please work with your local Home Depot for ordering information.

Thank you for your inquiry. The K-702408 would be better in case your walls are not perfectly plumb and would also allow for a little bit larger walkthrough area.

My shower alcove wall doesn't have a wood stud behind the hinge side, just tiles on drywall and the opening is 34.5" wide x 72" high. Would it be able to support the weight of the Fluence semi-frameless glass door in a long run? Thanks.

Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 17 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice door 1st time installing a shower door, but wanted to save $. Had to swap out the 1st one because we bought a size too small (be sure to measure your shower door opening EXACTLY.) Home Depot was so nice about the swap!!! Easy installation, excellent, detailed instructions, and a beautiful door. Saved close to $400 over having one installed by a shower door company. Also, the Kohler website and tech support was helpful before we purchased, answering our question (we needed to install the opening opposite the shower head, which they said was okay.) LOVE THE DOOR! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Styling / Quality Product I was looking for a more modern design for my Master Bath Shower door replacement and this one was perfect! Shipped to my house in pristine condition. No damage whatsoever! Amazing considering how heavy the all glass door is. Anyway, the installation instructions are very detailed and cover everything. It took me about 3 hours to do the install. March 15, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great door for the $$$ We have purchased 3 of the same kind of glass doors. Actually we received and installed 2 in our upstairs bathrooms. Later we purchased the third one to the downstairs bathroom because it was the biggest bang for the buck! The chrome finish doesn't leave water drop marks, the craftsmanship is superb, the style is perfect for our contemporary look, the glass door itself is thick and heavy. The only mistake we made is not measuring the height. We have a gap between the glass door and ceiling. Still it's not such a big deal to convince myself that we could have found something better. Would strongly recommend! April 3, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Shower door We had a few problems with the installation because the screws included were not long enough so we had to purchase extra ones. February 25, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice shower door, needs better screws I have successfully installed the door, and it looks as good as a custom door that would have cost twice as much. The fact that the sizes go up in one inch increments meant I could get a door that fitted exactly. HOWEVER, the first steps in the installation were very frustrating. There are small allen-head screws that screw into plastic pads, to secure the adjustable side rails. The heads on several of these screws stripped out when I tried to assemble (taking a LOT of care after I lost the first one). The screws are either too small or too weak. I ended up having to replace these screws with stainless screws I fortunately had around. Once I got beyond that problem, the rest of the assembly was a breeze, and well-detailed in the instructions. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice door Overall this door is a nice product for the price when compared to an actual frameless shower door. It has a nice look. I have my own remodeling company so this wasn't the first time I've installed a shower door. The main problem I had with the installation was that one of the allen wrenches that came with the door was the wrong size. Luckily I had a spare set at my house with the right one. And the other drawback was that some of the screws started to strip as I was screwing them in. January 14, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by HORRIBLE PRODUCT! We were so excited to find this product and based on other reviews excited that it would install easily, but this is not what we found. The screws that secure the glass door where very hard to tighten and became stripped almost right away. They were to tighten with a hex wrench, both the screw and wrench became stripped! We tightened the screws as much as we could and to the extent that they would not tighten any further only to find out later when the door came crashing down, that the screws were not fully tightened. There was no way to tell the screws and adjustment plates were not fully secure. The installation design is very poor since the security of the door relies on these impossible to tighten screws. I would NOT recommend this door and am very sad to be out several hundred dollars. January 15, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Satisfied Very happy with this product, clean lines, my contractor installed it so I have no experience with the installation. July 22, 2014
