I bought this product to replace a American Standard faucet that began to be difficult to swivel. I couldn't find another American Standard that would duplicate the one I had. I needed a four hole with spray hose. The faucet works fine, however the shape of the main faucet is curved down at the end which allows water to remain in it for a short while after it is shut off. This results in 6 or so drops of water to drip from the faucet after it is shut off. Otherwise, considering the price, this is a satisfactory product.

Bought this faucet in an open box special. It was missing a nut, no big deal was able to purchase the nut for .58 at Home Depot. Anyway our old Kohler faucet had no water pressure at all we thought our well was going bad. Installed this faucet and we have wonderful water pressure :) The hand sprayer is so strong it will shoot across the kitchen! So very happy with this faucet!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DaveInMaine DO NOT PURCHASE! See important detail below ......
I purchased this faucet at Home Depot 5 years ago. It has leaked for at least the past year. I couldn't repair the leak because the handle set screw is frozen in place and I can't get the handle off. Kohler has agreed to replace the entire faucet with a higher grade version. IMPORTANT: Kohler customer service told me the Home Depot version of this faucet is a lower grade product so Home Depot (and the other big box store) can price it lower. Kohler makes the same faucet in commerical grade for other retailers. Stay away from this faucet altogether and definitely stay away from the Home Depot version! ZERO STARS for this terrible product.

I have had my Koehler faucet about seven years and about three years ago I called Koehler about the faucet leaking and they sent me new internal parts which fixed it for another couple of years. I just got around to taking the faucet apart yesterday to fix it and this time the rubber o-rings were failing. I went to Ace Hardware ( cause it was closer) and got two new rubber rings for it and it works like new again. I believe the size was 1 5/8" x 3/32". Also if you have hard water like me and there is calcium buildup cause of the water leaking out, just soak those parts in white distiller vinegar and almost all the buildup comes off.

I am so disappointed in this product. I always thought Kohler was a good brand. After seeing the reviews, I know I didn't just happen to get a dud.
I was "lucky" enough to get 4 years out of this faucet, but like many others, it began leaking and once we took it apart to tighten it and/or see what the issue was, the leak got much worse. I never would have expected it to break down so soon, but as I said, I was "lucky" to get 4 years out of it. I'll be replacing it with a different brand, for sure.

Pleased with quality for the price. Very comparable to other products. Item was on sale and price made it very appealing. The craftsmanship is good and stylish. I liked how this product item was designed over others they carry for sale. Highly recommend this product to others rather on sale or not. Great value.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DrWoo THE WHOLE STORY ON THIS EXCELLENT PRODUCT
I read the other reviews. Don't listen to them. Here is the real story.
I bought this faucet at Home Depot 8 years ago. Installed it myself. It was pretty easy once I got myself the right wrench - to reach up under the sink. It worked beautifully but began to leak about six months ago. It slowly grew worse. I diagnosed the problem by watching a few youtube videos about installing single-handle faucets. O-rings need replacement. Went to Home Depot to decide whether to replace the whole faucet or try to fix O-rings. The guy there gave me the straight skinny. First of all, he said in terms of overall quality this one is the best faucet in the whole house. Solid brass that is heavily chromed. He pointed out that this faucet is significantly heavier than any of the others in Home Depot. Why? Because the others are not made with such good material. (My faucet after 8 years looks just as good as the day I installed it - except for the hard water deposits on it. Hard water is what ruins all O-rings in single handle faucets.)
But, he said, there was a serious flaw. The O-rings used by Kohler for several years deteriorated usually in a year or two and have to be replaced. The product got many complaints. He was amazed that I had mine for 8 years. His assessment is that when I got mine, the O-rings Kohler was using were higher quality. Kohler switched to faulty ones sometime later - but here is the major point of my story: KOHLER HAS RECOGNIZED THE PROBLEM. He said the O-rings in the product today are excellent and don't deteriorate.
His advice was don't replace, just fix the faucet. Call 1-800-4KOHLER and tell them you want O-rings for the Forte faucet. They will send you a kit with O-rings free of charge. He was right. It was a five-minute phone call, and the kit worked great. One word of caution on repairs. There is a nut you must unscrew with an allen wrench beneath the hole in the back of the handle. (Remove the oval chrome plug in this hole with a small screw driver.) Before trying to unscrew this nut, put some WD40 or some penetrating oil on it and let it sit for ten minutes before you try to un-screw it. (Another hint from the guy at Home Depot.) Repair took less than half-hour.
Want the best faucet for you sink in all of Home Depot? Get this one. Others cost more - but they aren't as good.

installed this faucet about a year ago and it has started leaking everywhere, leaks around top of handle and makes a mess. I would not advise anyone to waste their money on this faucet.
