Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Theodore water saving design no good if you have low water pressure, easily clogs
If you have high water pressure and copper pipes, this faucet will probably be OK. This design exacerbates my low water pressure. The faucet has a thin connector which reduces the water pressure significantly, probably as a water saving measure, that reduces its efficiency.

This faucet is costlier than we usually buy for our church kitchen, but it was a sound investment.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Eric Very disappointed. Not the quality I expect from Kohler.
Purchased in 2012, four years later, many issues:
1) The button (switches between stream and spray) fell off.
2) Hose is leaking. (Of course, I didn't realize that for who know how long. Now, the area under the sink is water damaged.)
3) The bonnet is no longer threaded into the base of the faucet.
For the price of this faucet. I would expect much better performance.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Ed After 7 1/2 years: Stuck, major corrosion
After 7 1/2 years, this expensive Kohler faucet became very hard to rotate from one side to another. Today I pulled off its main metal structure and found pitting corrosion in several spots on the inside. Vinegar and a small screwdriver helped me remove the corrosion, revealing the pitting. In some spots the pitting is so bad it's almost breaching the outside chrome surface. I removed the corrosion material and now it's rotating freely again, but the pitting obviously stays in place and will only get worse. In 2-4 years I will have to replace it because the corrosion will finally reach the outside. I like Kohler, this was a disappointment.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by ShiShi Difficult to Maintain Properly Working Kitchen Faucet
I have had a number of problems with this Kohler product K-10433. Not sure how to handle them. The plastic buttons on the sides of the pull-out sprinkler have broken and have had to be replaced. The direction, even with new buttons, is difficult to get to divert. I have replaced the cartridge and it seems to work. The whole faucet tends to bind when pushed to either side to get from one sink to the other one adjacent to it. Not sure why and have placed lubricant that works for a while. Not sure if some kind of calcium build-up that needs repeated servicing or whether lubricant isn't working. It should move smoothly, but doesn't. Appearance is fine. Maybe suggest polished chrome instead of brushed nickel since easier to care for. It concerns me that this has required an excess of time to keep running.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Carefulshopper Faucet works well
I don't understand all the negative reviews, unless it is just more common for people who have had negative experiences to comment than those for whom a product works well. I put this faucet in my kitchen sink when I remodeled the kitchen about 7 1/2 years ago. I have had no problems with the faucet; it is still working as it has always worked. I don't have any water softener or purifier so I'm sure there is mineral build up but so far it has not noticably affected the function. I use the pull out hose and both the steady stream and shower modes regularly.
The faucet was reasonably priced and works better than a previous kitchen faucet in this house. I like the forte line of Kohler faucets so well that I'm now going to use models in both the shower and sink of a bathroom partial remodel.
Over the years I have occasionally used a cheaper bathroom fixture by another company, but then always have come back to Kohler. As a 4th generation Kohler customer, I have few complaints with the products and appreciate the quality and durability.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DonOakland Another failed faucet
Installed a few years ago, and now have persistent leaking from underneath the handle. You can see the water build up in the gap under the handle even when the faucet is off. Based on other reviews, I assume it is a failed cartridge. It is leaking through the base and under our cabinets. Called Kohler today and couldn't get through due to "high call volume". I guess everyone is calling about their failed faucets. Very disappointing that Kohler continues to sell this faucet given the obvious low grade workmanship.
