Good faucet ...however I'll try to talk home owners into stainless and not the brushed nickel finish.
For my tastes it has too much contrast with the stainless sink. Its a good product but in my application I would have chosen the stainless finish.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Eric Very disappointed. Not the quality I expect from Kohler.
Purchased in 2012, four years later, many issues:
1) The button (switches between stream and spray) fell off.
2) Hose is leaking. (Of course, I didn't realize that for who know how long. Now, the area under the sink is water damaged.)
3) The bonnet is no longer threaded into the base of the faucet.
For the price of this faucet. I would expect much better performance.

I don't understand all the negative reviews, unless it is just more common for people who have had negative experiences to comment than those for whom a product works well. I put this faucet in my kitchen sink when I remodeled the kitchen about 7 1/2 years ago. I have had no problems with the faucet; it is still working as it has always worked. I don't have any water softener or purifier so I'm sure there is mineral build up but so far it has not noticably affected the function. I use the pull out hose and both the steady stream and shower modes regularly.
The faucet was reasonably priced and works better than a previous kitchen faucet in this house. I like the forte line of Kohler faucets so well that I'm now going to use models in both the shower and sink of a bathroom partial remodel.
Over the years I have occasionally used a cheaper bathroom fixture by another company, but then always have come back to Kohler. As a 4th generation Kohler customer, I have few complaints with the products and appreciate the quality and durability.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Handiman Great Kohler quality
I had this identical faucet before and after several years the spout became more difficult to swivel and eventually froze in place and couldn't be moved. Probably due to a mineral build-up.
I ordered a replacement from Home Depot via the internet since they don't stock it in stores. When I opened the box it appeared that it had been previously opened. Since all the parts were there, I installed it. Installation was a breeze. Now I notice that the main unit does not move uniformly when I swivel the faucet because there is a minor bend. It's not very obvious and I'm hoping that it will not eventually have a negative effect on it's operation.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Susan Housing rotted after 8 years use
Once upon a time a kitchen faucet lasted as long as the house. When I bought this Kohler kitchen faucet I thought I was getting the best. But the main body of the faucet (the "cover") corroded on the inside so badly that it wouldn't move back and forth. There was even a place where it rotted away entirely. Definitely NOT recommended.

Purchased in 2011 and loved it until both plastic pieces on the sprayer handle have fallen out/broken not able to switch between regular stream and spray. Expensive faucet to not hold up for 5 years!

Faucet worked fine for six years then started to stick when rotating and is now all sorts of misaligned. Unable to fix, will need a plumber and probably a new unit. Very short of Kohler's brand image for us.
