Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Ed After 7 1/2 years: Stuck, major corrosion
After 7 1/2 years, this expensive Kohler faucet became very hard to rotate from one side to another. Today I pulled off its main metal structure and found pitting corrosion in several spots on the inside. Vinegar and a small screwdriver helped me remove the corrosion, revealing the pitting. In some spots the pitting is so bad it's almost breaching the outside chrome surface. I removed the corrosion material and now it's rotating freely again, but the pitting obviously stays in place and will only get worse. In 2-4 years I will have to replace it because the corrosion will finally reach the outside. I like Kohler, this was a disappointment.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Daddo0711 Should be much better than it is
Wisconsin native trying to be proud of the company. As many others have written I spent a bit of extra money to get the Kohler reputation for quality. It functioned well for about a year and then started to deteriorate. With the exceptionally high calcium content of our water the switch to go from steam to spray became very difficult to fully engage either way. You'd be left with a weak spray centered by a trickle of stream, or a fair stream with a ring of weak spray. Then at about 3 years it became increasingly hard to swivel the faucet to either side. At the end it was locked to the left. I was applying as much pressure as I dared with absolutely no results. When I pulled the entire faucet out I found a fairly cheap plastic collar separating the body of the faucet form the escutcheon plate (see pic). It had become encrusted with sediment and could not be removed.
To their credit Kohler customer service, with very few questions, sent me free of charge an entirely new faucet citing a "manufacturing defect" as the mode of failure. Though I appreciate it I have little doubt this will be happening again in a relatively short time and am not looking forward to replacing the faucet every few years.
As a nitpick, the rubber seal between the escutcheon plate and sink does not work well. By itself it would do little to seal itself, and even with the addition of plumbers putty there was still plenty of gunk built up under it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 2Rubyslippers Great product, easy installation
This is a replacement for the exact same faucet only the updated model. Works great, looks good, although the water pressure seems a bit weak.

I was very pleased that the installation was not difficult and I spent more time removing the old faucet. The quality is what I expected from Kohler a great value.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by bp Poor quality
I've owned this faucet for about 5 years and I can't fix it anymore. Just after the first year the plastic button broke off. By the 2nd or 3rd year the handle broke off. It occasionally drips after being turned off. The handle broke off yet again so I'll be throwing in the towel on this one and get a better quality product.

Good faucet ...however I'll try to talk home owners into stainless and not the brushed nickel finish.
For my tastes it has too much contrast with the stainless sink. Its a good product but in my application I would have chosen the stainless finish.
