Just installed this faucet myself on 10-6-2013, easy to install. The plumber wanted $545 to install the faucet, disposal, and to hook up the plumbing. I did it all in about 2 hours. The faucet seems to be well made, I couldn't believe how heavy this thing was. I think it looks nice in my kitchen with my new granite countertop. I was hesitant to spend this much for a faucet but now I'm glad I did.

We are very disappointed with our Kohler kitchen faucet. We purchased the single-control faucet (K-10415) in August 2005 as part of a kitchen remodel. Within two years we had a problem with a leak at the base of the handle. The problem was intermittent, but annoying, and not something we expected from our first Kohler purchase. After putting up with this for a while, we mentioned it to the retailer and were told to request a valve cartridge. We received that (1016515 valve kit) at no charge, and had a plumber install the cartridge. The faucet leaked immediately after that installation, and the plumber discovered the source at the hose attachment at the bottom of the cartridge. After again calling Kohler, we received the “body assembly w/o spray” (1094582) and that was installed by the plumber in another trip. After six months the leak had returned. After reporting this to Kohler, we received an entire new faucet, no charge, and I installed it myself. Now, August 2014, the leak has returned as bad as ever. Don't bother with this one. Like another writer, I think there must be a design flaw. It IS solid, looks good, but may well be trouble in a couple of years. There are plenty of trouble-free options.

This faucet leaks soon after installation. Fixed it once and it started leaking again soon after. The leak happens under the handle where there's a chrome ring that screws down onto the stem. For the price, this is unacceptable. Expect to be wasting your money if you buy this--you will be replacing it!

Very pleased with the look and feel of this faucet. It's only been in use for a month but I feel quite confident this will last a long time.

Product was easy to install right out of the box. Attractive and well made. I've contacted Kohler Customer Service in the past in regards to another Kohler faucet, and their service is impeccable. I'll definitely keep buying Kohler products.

I had this faucet professionally installed a little more than 1 year ago. The faucet started leaking, small at first than spurting out. After much frustration on my husbands part and time, he finally got new (inner parts) replaced and now I have a leak free kitchen faucet. I'm pretty sure this faucet had a defect and I should have sent it back.

I have purchased Kohler faucets in the past and was well pleased with the craftsmanship and performance. However, this faucet has a fundamental design flaw. As the faucet swivels back and forth in normal use, in time it eventually loosens a nut that holds the assembly together. This causes frustrating leaks below the handle and eventually at the countertop as well. I had to tighten the nut about once every 60 days and finally trashed it once it started leaking near the countertop. I understand Kohler will supply replacement parts that could prevent the leak at the countertop, but I'm not willing to service the faucet, especially paying over $200 for it, every couple months. This unit needs to go back to the drawing board.
