Poor finish quality. Mine has some rough/sharp edges along the front of the seat, where you would grab to lift the seat. Clearly a manufacturing defect since most of this edge is smooth. I would return it but I don't want the hassle. Disappointed in this Kohler product.

Easy to install and soft close works fine. I find Koehler toilet seats to be quite uncomfortable because of how they angled/slope inward of seat and not flat like some other manufacturers. But the color, and style of seat looks nice on the base compared with other brands. Since this is for powder room, want it to look nicer.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Kyrie Love the Quiet Close Feature
The seat was easy to install and more traditional in nature than the other toilet seats sold. The quiet close feature is great.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by RJ Very happy. Nice to have the original one than the "wood" one my husband replaced with earlier :-)
Very simple install. Got tired of waiting for my husband to install both toilet seats, so I did it myself.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MidwesternGal A seat that doesn't slide around and stays in place tightly!
The grip tight bumpers actually work! Great to have a seat that stays in place and doesn't slip or shift. Quiet close feature works well and is worth the extra cost. This is an elegant, easy-to-clean, easy-to-install seat - highly recommend.

Unless you hold this open for a full 5 seconds, the damned thing starts closing on you. Got two, same problem. called Kohler: got complete denial of known problem. Read similar reviews on Amazon.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by senior2 Kohler white toilet seats: lacquer coating fails
The Glenbury Quiet Close seat functions well & is a sturdy seat base, but the lacquer coating is beginning to break down after only a couple of years. Previous white Kohler toilet seats I have had have also had a similar problem... the plastic coating began to break down & peel away over time. However, my old Kohler seats stood up a lot longer than 2 years before the coating began to "peel"! (The coloured Kohler seats I had did not peel, so I am not sure if they are chemically treating the coloured seats differently than the white ones, or if it was just a coincidence in my case that it was only the white seats that had the problem.)
With my old Kohler seats, I used Windex & a paper towel to clean them from time to time, but with the new Kohler seat I played it safe, and used only water & a soft cloth. No harsh cleaners at all.
Kohler needs to re-think their coating chemistry on their white toilet seats.

the first one I had the lid came loose about 2 years old. The replacement I just purchased is not as high quality as the first. The seat does not always stay up and does not function as well as the orginal.
