Customer Reviews

Highline Classic 2-piece 1.6 GPF Elongated Toilet in Almond is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 62.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy this - poor quality, poor customer. Installation was straightforward, but we found that the tank would not refill consistently. The immediate workaround was to lift the top, and wiggle the float to get water to fill the tank. This got old fast, so we called Kohler customer support for help. The Kohler official response "Oh, we understand that you just bought a new toilet from us, and we are sorry but the part that's failing is not ours. Contact Sloan (another company) for support with that part." First, we get shoddy quality parts on a new toilet - then we get passed off to vendors to get them working correctly? Poor customer service Kohler - poorly done all around. Folks - you may want to consider American Standard.

This would be a perfect toilet if it had been tested properly before leaving the plant where it was made. I had to bend some internal parts in order to get it to flush properly, this was not an easy task.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A true porcelain throne It's bigger than I thought, if you are under 5' 6" your feet probably won't touch the floor. At least not flat on the floor. I read some complaints about the loudness of this toilet, first it's not quiet like your typical home toilet... But it's not as loud as some complain and it literally lasts about 2 seconds. But so worth it because it does a good job and repeat flushing not needed. Also the water saver toilets these days are awful and dirty and this is evidentially made better because the water level is much higher than in the one we took out! And this may be TMI but for the women who generally get stuck cleaning the toilet go for it because I have yet to cringe when I clean the front outside if you get my meaning!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing:) Perfect solution to never having to use a plunger! Bought this for our guest bathroom. We have many summer gatherings, therefore high traffic in the restroom. Be it big guys eating too much, well, everything, or kids using half a roll of T.P., the toilet was ALWAYS getting clogged. It was embarrassing for them, and for us. No more! This baby works perfectly, whooshing away pretty much anything you can " dump" in it;) A warning; It is a little noisy, so warn the guests prior to usage, so as not to freak them out! I'll trade the noise over the clean any day! Will be replacing our others with this unit ASAP!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Throw away the plunger! I may start giving these toilets as Christmas presents! It is about time that water pressure rather than gravity be used to flush a toilet. Even if I have to replace the Flushmate unit in 10 years instead of just buying a rubber flapper it will be well worth the expense. I wonder why HD does not stock these in their stores alongside their weak counterparts but the online ordering and delivery was flawless!

They are nearly impossible to clog (very important if on the second floor) 2. They do not have a flapper valve that will erode and leak from the chlorine in your local water supply This model is easy to install with a 12" rough. I did not give it five stars because the flushing action does not always fully clean the bowl.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Power Assist was not installed correctly Except that the seat had missing hardware and a cracked cover for the screws the toilet itself was ok. The main problem was that the Power Assist flush motor was installed incorrectly and cross threaded into the tank thereby not allowing the flush handle to work. Had to take whole PA kit out, re-Seat the unit so handle could move freely.

I never thought I would say that I love my Toilet but this is the best the hight is just right and I don't feel like I'm sitting on a little kid toilet. The flush is a little loud but it's so quick that it not a issue. We purchased tow of these and they are well worth the money.
