We initially thought this sink would not meet our needs with the low divider between the two bowls but the low divider allows pans with handles to fit in the sink easily.
The bowls are so large a glass 11 x 14 pan can fit in the bowl lying flat an can be completely immersed in water.
The finish is outstanding and the quality is excellent. We have purchased the optional stainless steel grates that fit in the bottom of each bowl that protect the bottom from scratches and dings from large pots and pans. We purchased the Kohler stem that fit perfectly and has an excellent finish and makes the new sink look even better - don't use the old one if you are replacing a sink. This one is a gem - very very happy.
Getting the sink in whites saved some cost and it is a brilliant white glaze.

The sink is great; there were no chips or scratches, excellent protection for shipping, and the cast-iron makes for a very heavy, sturdy sink. It's nice and deep, and the smart divide makes the sink feel much larger and avoids some of the splashing over the edges when moving the faucet between sides. The design makes it easy to fit an entire cookie sheet in the sink for soaking while still maintaining separated sides for various functions. It is a very attractive look as well and it was very easy to install. An excellent design and well worth investing a bit of extra money to purchase! Please note that, as this is a cast-iron product, it is VERY heavy, so make plans for assistance in moving and installing this sink if you aren't terribly strong.

This is a great sink. I am rebuilding my kitchen and I chose the cast iron over a composite or an aluminum sink. I've heard that they both scratch easily. Not so with this guy. It is a bit large for my kitchen. I had limited space to work with but it still works for me.
The five holes also work well. I have filtered water through my refrigerator but I also have a charcoal/sediment filter under my sink. I use that nozzle on the right when I fill my pots with cooking water. I have a soap dispenser on the left and the water spout and sprayer in the middle.
The sink cleans up with just soap and water, has deep wells, and a lower center divider.
The original sink was an old cast iron job and I had to use Ajax or some abrasive to clean it up. It was a bit smaller and I had limited space to work the sink into the new dimension for the kitchen but it's still a great product. I get a lot of compliments from my neighbors too.
The drop-in arrangement works well. It's heavy so get a friend to help you drop it in place unless you are 6' 6" and weigh 240. No regrets so far.
The finish is guaranteed for life. I cleaned the cast iron grills from my stove in the sink and the next day I thought I chipped the surface. It turned out to be a grease spot. The finish seems to be rugged or they would not offer that lifetime warranty.
It's just a good looking, solid, easy to clean sink at the right price.

Classic Kohler porcelain sink. Had to pay a little more for a five hole sink.

When the sink arrived, I was pleasantly surprised as to its beauty. I look forward to using it for many years to come. I love a cast iron sink and the enamel finish is so easy to maintain and is resistant to chemicals and stain.

Love the color; love the sink's functionality but not its material. This is the 3rd Kohler kitchen sink in both color and style we have purchased.
The two before this last purchase chipped and eroded on the soap dispenser side. Both times I called Kohler's customer service department and both times was told we had installed the sink incorrectly. They said there was no warranty on this particular part of the sink. However, NOW, Kohler does have a life-time warranty on this exact part. What's that all about?
We purchased the exact model and make because of the new warranty policy and because changing the model would mean ripping out the granite top the sink sets in.

We have had this sink for about 2 years. It marks, scratches and chips like any enameled cast-iron does, and cleans easily with a sponge and Comet, Bartenders Friend, or the like. The design is excellent, as is the appearance. The disposal runs very quietly with a minimum of vibration thanks to the rigidity and mass of the sink. We have it dropped into a Corian counter top, installed per instructions. My disappointment is in the corners where the sink meets the counter top. The enamel is chipping off from the bottom edge, as if the corners were not properly designed to bear weight. Unfortunately the warranty is only one year.
