Don't like this one, but had to get a sink for my remodel. The people in responsible for my remodel from Home Depot told me a needed to order a new sink immediately so that they can get my counter top installed. I was rushed to get a new one. I ordered the first one in plenty of time, but it arrived broken or was broken during the installation of my cupboards. Oh ya, and guess what I still don't have a sink!!!! They have messed up so many times and can't even count. It would take a book to tell you how absolutely awful this entire experience is!!!

Its a deep sink so it makes it easy to clean large items. The price is a bit high but well worth it!

The sink was very securely packed, all parts were included, came on time. Well done, no complaints.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 2Westies It IS a Smart Sink!
Love this sink. Just had it installed as part of a kitchen remodel and have rec'd tons of compliments on it. Before I purchased it, I was debating bt. double bowl sink (what I'm used to) or large farm sink which would accommodate larger pans. This sink solved both issues. There are two bowls if you want to wash in one side, then rinse in the other and keep your dishes, etc. separate. Or, if you need to soak or scrub a large pan, just fill the sink with soapy water above the center divider and you have the benefit of a large, one bowl sink. Smart, indeed!

Great sink. Had the same thing previously but it was not undermounted. The new sink came with a installation kit that carries the weight of the sink (135lbs.) I really like the low divider.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Kareniv Smart Divide is the perfect sink!
This is a great sink! I love the lower center divider which allows clearance for large pots and cookie sheets, etc. (Almost as much room as a farm sink, at half the price!) But it also allows you the versatility of using it as a typical divided sink. Frying pan handles lay over the divider allowing you to fully immerse the pan. The rounded backs make the work area much larger and the extra sink depth is great. If you're looking for the perfect sink, this is it!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by RenoChic LOVE the smart divide! Beautiful Sink!
So we have our Kohler Langlade smart divide sink installed and it is beautiful and smart with that low divider. The perfect solution for those wanting a big washing basin but liking separation. We have santa cecilia granite and so we went with a Biscuit color to compliment the granite. It looks beautiful and went perfectly in our kitchen. The venetian bronze faucet went perfect with it too!
For cons, I would have to say that the websites that sell this sink should post the minimum size cabinet required for proper install (unless i missed it on here some how...i peeked at the specs). The sink measurements show 33" and our cabinet is 35", so we thought "great, it should work." Well, not really. The brackets needed to support the sink were too big and the sink just barely fit. Luckily my husband was able to cut the brackets down just enough to get it to work. The paperwork has a suggested cabinet size of 36". This should be noted on the site. After getting this sink and waiting a week in our reno progress, we decided to try to make it work on our own rather than return it for something smaller. Luckily it all worked out.
I also used the sink for the first time today and hand washed my pots and pans. When i was done, it was all scuffed up with grey marks. I just about FREAKED! $800 for a cast iron sink that is suppose to be tough as nails and now I have ugly grey scuff marks after 1 use? I jumped on Google and found that it can be removed with a Kohler sink cleaner specialized to remove the scuffs and that this is common with cast iron sinks. So we will see. The only thing is that it's gonna be a pain to have to scrub them out each time, so i may just get 2 mats for them. But then again, after $800..who wants to cover a beautiful sink with ugly mats...oh well.
Still LOVE it. Looks very classy and high end (if the marks come out lol)
