We chose this particular unit because it matches the base trim and crown moulding in the master bath we just remodeled. Nice stately touches. I don't like to pay for anything unless it starts with "vacation" or" sun and sandy beach". That's why I gave it a fair value rating. I just wish someone would redesign the internal parts to not include a chain. Maybe I should do that. Overall a good, fine working toilet. Practical and yet stately looking. A perfect match to the room.

I bought this product for the Aquapiston flush technology and the colonial look. I am completely satisfied with its design and operation. installation was easy ( only took about 30 minutes). It looks great in my Master Bathroom. couldn't have made a better choice.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AlwaysWorkingOnTheHouse We liked it so much, we bought a second one
When we renovated our main floor bathroom my wife chose this toilet based on it's looks with the base not being rounded like most toilets. Once installed we really liked the performance of it and in two years have never needed to plunge it like the other toilets in our house. So when I got really sick of a toilet that needed constant plunging I immediately searched for and found it on Home depots site and could not be happier.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Gtwngal Works well - Install tips
There is an American Standard in my local store that is similarly styled. I thought it was pretty so we ordered this one. But when we installed it we weren't sure we liked it. Just different I guess. It's growing on me and I like it now, but I may have preferred the Memoirs Classic style. It makes my bathroom look better. It's quite a throne.
Our flange fits on top of the tile. The bottom side of this toilet has no extra room. We ended up using the simple, plain wax seal for $1.49. It was the only option that we had room for. Even with that, my husband had to apply his weight to get the wax squished enough for the toilet to sit flatly on the floor. Also, when installing the tank, be sure to check level front to back as well as side to side.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BostonMA Nice product
Nice quality product. Big improvement over the antique that has served its purpose. The recommended toilet seat was not good. The slow closing feature is very irritating for those that need to open the seat and leave it open. (the seat will not stay up at first) Also the seat was very uncomfortable. But the toilet itself is very nice.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ECB pretty... as pretty as toilets can be.
The bathroom we installed this in is very small and this toilet fit perfectly and did not overwhelm the space. The detail on the top of the tank really plays off the white ceramic and glass tile chair rail that goes around the bathroom that we chose. We installed this about 6 months ago and have never had an issue (no leaks, no running toilet, etc.) We did a vintage theme in the bathroom and this toilet is as pretty as a toilet can be. It was worth the cost to spend a little more to make sure we were 100% happy with the whole look of our bathroom. The price is completely fair and I would recommend this product readily, especially if you are going for a vintage/shabby-chic/traditional look.

Pricey toilet...however I loved all the trim on the tank and at the bottom. Really a nice looking high-end toilet. Had shipped to store and picked up with ease.
