Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Barbara Looks great in our 1/2 bath. Opens up the small room.
We were looking for a pedestal sink that would give a more modern, streamlined look to our downstairs half bath. This one certainly does that. Enough space on sides for soap dispenser and lotions. Very happy with it.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DaveS Covered with Spider Cracks after 5 years
I purchased this exact same sink at Home Depot in 2007. It started showing unsightly spider cracks in the basin and around the sides about 2 years ago. Now, it just looks aweful. I called Kohler, and they said that there was nothing they could do because it only has a one year warranty. They also said that I could have caused the cracks, but they are in some areas where I know nothing could have ever been dropped. We use Kohler recommended cleaner. I wish we would have kept our 50 year old sink that this replaced.
If you plan to keep this sink for more than a few years, DO NOT BUY IT! Based on this product and the poor customer service from Kohler, I will never buy another Kohler product.

Less than a year after this sink was installed cracks began appearing in the sink basin. The cracks have increased over time and the sink needs replacing. I wrote to Kohler customer care and am awaiting a response. We moved in to the new house in Dec. 08., and that is when we began to use the sink. All 4 bathrooms are exclusively Kohler, sinks, tubs and toilets - no problems with any other products. In our case this problem relates specifically to the Memoirs pedestal sink tops. Don't purchase this sink unless you are prepared to replace it yearly. Poor quality control and manufacturing on this item. If Kohler responds with a replacement, great, if not, we will use American Standard for all future bathroom needs.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Duderino Top of the Line Sink!
If you're looking for the best sink you can get for the money, and in that vintage style, you can't beat this one. Aside from the quality you always get with Kohler, and the beautiful detailing of this sink, it has a wide rim, which makes up for the downfall of most pedestal sinks vs. deck-mounted sinks--no counter space for toothpaste, soap, jewelry, etc. I did a total "vintage style" gut remodel of our bathroom and this sink was perfect for it.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Page Spider line cracks
This sink and matching commode were installed new ten years ago. Recently, the wash basin is developing fine, spider line cracks which I've read elsewhere is common on Kohler sinks. Wouldn't you know it when I'm getting ready to sell my home, the sink starts to fall apart. Very disappointing for Kohler.

I used to be a Kohler fan!
Like others, I found the style of this product aesthetically pleasing, however the cracking and crazing in the glaze is obviously a manufacturer defect and it is growing over time!
I am considering "re-glazing" versus purchasing a replacement....Problem is that I had slate stone custom installed around the base of the pedestal....
DO NOT PURCHASE KOHLER! The do not stand behind their product blaming the customer for this manufacturer defect!!!
BTW, I do love Home Depot, just not Kohler...

The sink is just what we expected from this manufacture. It is solid, and very upscale in appearance. The sink was easy to install. The sink rest on top of the pedestal which is bolted to the floor and then the skin is bolted to the wall. The entire until is very solid and looks great. We are very pleased with both the look and quality.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dave Wish Kohler would stand behind thier products
I purchased this sink to replace the exact same model that I bought 7 years earlier due to small cracks in the finish all over the sink. I tried to get Kohler to replace, but they would not because it is out of warranty. The original sink in the bathroom was 70 years old without any issues with the finish... I expected to get more than 7 years out of this one Kohler tried to tell me that I must have damaged the sink surface, but the cracks were also in areas (like underneath) where nothing could have impacted it. Obviously there was a quality issue with the finish.
So I really wanted to replace with a similar American Standard product, but it did not work with the bathroom. I did not see the cracking issue in other reviews, so I am hoping this one will last more than 7 years.
