I used one of these toilets in each of my two recent bathroom remodels. I really like the skirted design and the dual flush. I had read some other reviews that complained about the difficulty of mounting them to the floor. If you have a hammer drill, and know how to use it, there is nothing to worry about! I actually found it easier to mount these because I wasn't worried about snapping off the flange by over tightening the bolts.
You can get cheaper toilets but if you want to add some style to you bathrooms, skirted is the way to go! Whomever is in charge of cleaning your bathrooms will thank you!

We love this toilet. It works great and looks beautiful in our remodeled master bath. Great quality. Uses very little water, but flushes great. Plumber said it was not easy to install.

We have had 3 of these toilets for several years now. We are a family of 4 with 2 school-aged children. I agree with many other reviewers that these toilets are attractive and they have saved us a lot of water which is good for the environment and our water bill. I don't know how easy or difficult they were to install because our contractor did it and didn't comment on it. BUT, I don't recommend this toilet because it splatters (probably because the water level is so low in the basin), many times all the way onto the back of the toilet seat. And they leave tracks because solid waste frequently piles up well above the water level and doesn't flush even with several flushes. So you will need to clean it frequently which uses extra water and is very annoying.

The toilet seat is held by two cheap plastic brackets which "click' the seat to the toilet main body. The slightest movement will see this seat 'click off' and become loose. Cheap design, but expensive toilet. Stay away at all cost from Kohler products.

Good looks but very bad design. The installation has been a nightmare, we've had three plumbers out for install on this toilet and it still isn't correct, with the last plumber wanting to charge us more than the cost of the toilet before we told him to hit the road. The toilet leaks from the bottom and has stained some tile grout lines, the base doesn't seem to be large enough and the toilet rocks side to side. I do believe its a combination of bad design on Kohlers part and bad local plumbers, but I'm into this toilet for over $500 and not at all happy.

I loved the sleek look of this toilet...that's about it!
Uses less water
1) I had to redesign the wall behind this toilet as the tank sits right against the wall and would not allow for tiles to install behind - ended up having to paint.
2) At this price, it does not come with a toilet seat.
3) I had to relocate the water supply line as the lowers back of the toilet would not allow the "turn off" valve to work properly without scraping the side of the bottom structure.
4) A slow flushing system and takes a couple of flushes to wash down waste.
5) Bowl has little water in the bowl, so paper and waste tend to stick to bowl...more cleaning than my old bowls.

This toilet is horrible!!! When it is flushed the bowl fills with water and it takes several minutes before it drains the water while leaving the toilet paper behind. I tried flushing it and even plunging it several times and finally had to hand remove the paper. This is GROSS!!!! Who wants stinky toliet water sitting for even a minute before flushing. I am replacing it with a standard toilet that I know works even if I have to hold the handle down to empty the tank for it to flush completely. I would give it all zeros if I could.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Tootsie I loved the design of this toilet
But, the plumber I used said that the toilet was over-engineered. The pictures in the installation instructions did not match what the actual toilet was like. The schematic drawings showed the valve up, instead of what it should have been - to the side. She had to redo the plumbing into the wall. It was also very difficult to get the bolts fastened because the holes on the sides of the toilet were so small. You could not thread the bolts very easily. Also, there were no covers to cover the bolts. Would have been prettier if there were. I am very happy with the final product, it was just difficult to install. Make sure you look at the product before you just trust the installation manual.
