The quality of this faucet is top of the line, the drain is even made from metal where most are plastic. The unit was packaged well and the directions were easy to follow. If you ever installed a bathroom faucet before you won't have any issue installing this unit.
The finish of the faucet looks excellent. The material doesn't seem to hold any fingerprints like some other units I've had. The water pressure is excellent for being a water sense faucet. The drain plug also move smoothly and seals like it should.

I selected this faucet for my bathroom for its simple, clean and sleek design. The faucet functions very nice with smooth transitions from on to off for both hot and cold water handles. As a do it yourselfer, it took me a little longer than I thought to install the faucet set, but for a novice, installed the faucet with no problems and no leaks. The packaging did scare me at first because I thought the product may have not been protected well. When I opened the box, there wasn't any protection inside, as you can see in the pictures below, to keep the faucet from getting scratched, but it seemed to be ok and flawless. All in all a great find and an awesome product.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by BambooTho Elegant looking, super easy to install
We installed this with our new counter top. It looks sleek and top quality. The levers are smooth and solid. The surface is a rich brushed nickle with an even, consistent finish. It comes with clear installation instructions and installs in minutes. You will need Teflon tape, non-staining plumber's putty and intake hoses. We had a minor leak in the base of the spigot, between the counter and the faucet. I packed in a little putty and it was good. One gripe, I like a faucet that extends into the sink far enough for me to wash my hands in the stream without splashing all over the counter. I would prefer that the faucet extend farther into the sink. Other than that it is great.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SteveVA Beautifully-designed and well-working faucet
This faucet was installed on a pedestal sink and came out looking great. It had great instructions but putting faucets on already installed pedestal sinks is inherently difficult. The faucet worked well with our well pressure and the handles move sturdily and with ease. It also comes with a special device to clean build-up in the future. Overall, it is a beautiful and quality modern faucet.

Despite my learning-curve, I am very happy with this faucet. I ordered this to use with a white 31" Kohler porcelain vanity top. Instructions were pretty simple, step-by-step with illustrations. But having never installed a faucet before, I felt the portion of the directions for the stopper could have been a little more descriptive. Also, there were unused parts and supplies on the supply list that weren't used in the instructions. There were 2 nuts included that were stamped with a part number that isn't listed on the parts list of the Installation Guide. And there was also a gray rubber gasket that I am hoping was just part of the packaging. I have no leaks and everything works smoothly, so I am fairly confident my assembly was correct. For the installation, you will need 'non-staining' plumbers putty, an adjustable wrench, and a Philips screwdriver. The Installation Guide also lists sealant tape as a part needed, but the instructions don't call for it. It may still be helpful to have on hand for other connections. One tip that was definitely helpful, as recommended in the instructions, was to assemble the faucet onto the sink before affixing the sink to the cabinet, if possible. So, my first-time installation would have probably taken me approx. 1/2 hr if everything had gone smoothly, but I lost a very small tee gasket. I ran to Home Depot the next day and, though they didn't have the replacement in stock, they put me in touch with Kohler while I was there at the store. The Kohler rep was wonderful enough to overnight a replacement part. As far as aesthetics and functionality, I very much like the neutral looking, brushed nickel design that will work with different styles of bathroom hardware/towel racks. It's a refreshing change from the brass faucet it replaced. The water flow/pressure is lighter, but still good. The aerator is custom to this faucet, so I'm not sure that's something that can be changed. There is a key to remove the aerator that I would recommend you string to the plumbing underneath for future use. The faucet is definitely a quality item and worth the purchase. And since most Kohler products I have used have been great quality, I am looking forward to longevity.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Termie Great looking, and really well designed
I've installed a number of bathroom faucets from various manufacturers, and I can honestly say this was the most straight-forward to install. If you've ever stuck your head inside a bathroom cabinet to install a faucet, you know it's always a slightly awkward thing to do, but Kohler has added some great design features to this faucet that actually make it easier to install. I've included photos detailing these.
Here are a few things I really liked about this model:
(1) absolutely stunning design
(2) high-quality brass fittings throughout, including the mixing valve, along with a stainless steel drain pipe (no cheap plastic!)
(3) a well-designed pull-tab for the sink stopper that sits flush with the back of the spout and yet is really easy to pull - what a revelation! It also stays clear of the hose and anchor bolt underneath the counter.
(4) the innovative under-sink mounting mechanism for the handles that uses screws rather than nuts. making it much easier to tighten.
Here are a few things I didn't like about the faucet:
(1) It does not come with supply lines, and it requires a 1/2" connector at the faucet end. Oddly, the specifications on the Home Depot website say a 3/8" connection is used, but that's not correct, and the instructions say absolutely nothing about this. An odd omission given that everything else is well thought out. I actually took the handles to the hardware store so I could try attaching various supply lines to make sure I got the right ones.
(2) while a rubber washer is included to keep water from seeping under the spout where it attaches at the counter, no washers are included for the handles. You'll need plumber's putty to seal the connection at the counter.
All in all, given the great looks and truly thoughtful design, this faucet is a bargain at its retail price.

I love the design and finish of this bathroom faucet. The instructions were easy to follow. Even my husband, who hates plumbing, was able to install it without issues. You can't beat Kohler for quality.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Steve Love the style and finish
I ordered this faucet for a bathroom remodeling I'll be doing in a few weeks. I love the classy look of this faucet and I'm sure it will look beautiful in the 48" white vanity I'll be using.
Before placing the order I did a web search to see what problems, if any, other people were having with the installation or function of this unit. Everyone, in general, agrees that KOHLER is a premium, well respected, manufacturer. I have two of their faucets in my apartments and after over a year in use the tenants are very pleased with them. There are less expensive faucets out there but experience has taught me that they don't hold up to tenant abuse.
If you've ever installed a faucet you'll find no surprises with this one. If this is your first faucet, simply read and follow the instructions, it's easy. The instructions are well written and clearly illustrated. The only tools you'll need are an adjustable wrench, a Phillips head screwdriver, some Teflon tape, non-staining plumbers putty and a small bucket. You'll also need two water supply lines (not included). I always use braided stainless steels lines. They cost a little more but I've never had one fail. After removing the old faucet and drain assembly the most important next step is to completely clean the deck surface and drain hole in the sink. Any leftover residue can cause potential leaks. If you're installing a new vanity, mount the faucet to the deck before securing the vanity top in place.
First install the drain lift pole in the faucet then the faucet into the deck. Next, the hot and cold water handles are dedicated Left and Right and identified with red and blue spots. The red spot is hot and hot is always installed on the left. Install these. Install the drain assembly and finally connect the water lines.
Kohler recommends removing the aerator prior to running the water for the first time. This is a common practice to flush the lines of any manufacturing debris that may have been overlooked.
The brushed nickel finish is easy to keep looking new as long as you do not use cleaners containing ammonia, bleach or acid. I like Windex Original without ammonia. Simply spray and wipe with a soft, non-abrasive, cloth. Kohler is an excellent company that stands behind their products with a limited lifetime warranty and the original sales receipt is required.
