Customer Reviews

Saile 1-Piece Elongated Toilet in Honed White-DISCONTINUED is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Saile is a nice, modern toilet, but do NOT purchase it in Honed White. Beware, the "honed white" version of this Saile toilet has been discontinued by Kohler for years, but Home Depot continues to sell it without disclosure and under mismatched photos. You will not receive the Quiet-Close™ seat pictured on the product webpage but instead a cheap Ridgewood model that doesn't fit aesthetically with the sleek, modern look of the Saile toilet or offer the advanced functionality one would expect with a $1K toilet. Moreover you cannot purchase the correct seat because it is no longer manufactured in Honed White. In addition to the above, the Honed White finish looks dirty from Day 1, and is very difficult to clean. Even our plumber's fingerprints from installation were impossible to clean off. Choose a White or other version and double-check that you received ALL of the parts you were expecting when this product is delivered. Because if you didn't, like me, you will end up spending a dozen hours on the telephone with Home Depot (bouncing from one call center to another before eventually finding someone that can solve the problem) trying to sort out a solution which ultimately doesn't compensate you for the extra money spent replacing a toilet they never should have sold you to begin with (absent appropriate disclosure regarding its status as discontinued and the inaccuracy of website photos), let alone your time. Bottom line is to avoid this Honed White toilet, and focus on a version of the Saile (a fine toilet, by the way) that is still being manufactured by Kohler.
