This toilet might be fine with little to no use! It is always clogging and you need to flush twice just for it to flush clean. Changing the toilet seat is impossible and you need to buy a special$50 kit to replace the usually rusted anchors. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY THIS TOILET! Something as simple as changing seat should not require the extra cost of a kit over the price of the $50 seat! I'm extremely disappointed with Kohler and thier lack of help with this matter!

Looks great in my remodeled bathroom in a 1929 house. Flushes quietly.

First of all, I love the color. It's almost beige or tan, but has a subtle little hint of pink (so it matches the bathroom sink). Second, it's low, sleek, and stylish. Most important, the flush is very, very quiet and quick – obviously saves on water usage. The seat contour feels a bit different from the previous toilet (also a Kohler, and it lasted 29 years!), but comfortable. All in all, I couldn't be happier! Now, if only I could afford a new bathtub to match . . . ah, well, some day. Go Kohler!

I held off buying this toilet for a year because of the negatives I'd read & heard. I needed to replace a 20 yr. old "Rialto" & the shorter dimension made it my only option. But, I was so hesitant I waited & hoped Kohler would "improve" it.
I finally bought it, but ONLY because I could wait no longer. WOW, was I surprised, this is a GREAT toilet! It's wonderful, one flush is all it takes & its higher h2o level helps keep it clean.

We have only had this toilet for a few weeks but we are very happy with it. We haven't had to double flush at all!!! Our last toilet ran all the time and was an old five gallon. I am so happy to have a toilet that works like it is supposed to. Never runs and never needs a extra flush! Came with all the guts installed already and a seat. I was surprised that there was no wax ring with it though. Price was a little high but we had very little options because we were VERY limited on space. I was a little disappointed that I took the full 10 days to ship to us because other reviews said theirs came so fast. Overall a great toilet!

Buying from Home Depot was quick and easy with shipment right to my door. Choosing this particular water closet (San Raphel) from Kohler took some time considering the flush capability, color and size. We had strick color limitations but in the end this closet was very easy to install and very comfortable with an excellent height and a perfect color match. I do wish the seat that came with the closet was an easy (slow) closing seat and Kohler should provide the better lid for this expensive closet. It did come with closet bolts but no waxed ring, although this information was not provided in the ordering data.

The Kohler San Raphael was just the ticket for my small Bathroom remolding job. I really like the modern look of the low profile design. The concealed trap way does make it easier to clean.
I've had it a week so far and have had no problems with it plunging. Flushing seams as good as my old Toilet that used 3.5 gal. per flush. So the Ingenium flushing system does as advertised..
The Home Depot shipped it to my door step free of charge, plus what I liked about ordering form the Home Depot if there was a problem with it, I could return it to the store in my neck of the woods. No hassle shipping it back.

Looks nice, but has a fatal flaw. The screws that hold the toilet seat go directly into the toilet base unit. In contrast to most toilets where the bolt or wing nut can be reached from underneath, there is no way to reach this part. The screws get corroded and are difficult to screw out. Worse, in my case, the bolt embedded in the toilet unit apparently came loose. The screw just kept turning uselessly, and there was no way to pry out the screw because the bolt was still attached to the screw even though it had come loose from inside the toilet itself. The toilet had to be disposed !!!
