This is the wonder of engineering toilet design. I love it, bought 4 from Home depot. Enjoy using it every time even after 6 months in use.
Thanks Kohler Engineers

I am a huge fan of one piece toilets for sanitary reasons. I love that they eliminate another place for dirt to hide. This toilet is simple and elegant, which is a tall order for a toilet! :) Aside from being pleased with the way it looks, the Home Depot plumbing associate explained why Kohler works so well. Apparently, they glazing continues past the bowl and on into the "bowels" of the toilet. This helps to prevent matter from getting stuck due to friction. I can't see any of that but I know this flushes well and we're very pleased with it! It's also so quiet that initially my husband was concerned that it might not have enough pressure to flush well. We've been using it for a couple months now and have had no issues.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0Â by RTGLENDALE Leaking Tank
Bought it from Home Depot in its original sealed box. The water from the tank started leaking after installing it. After 10 days Kohler send me a replacement flush seal. That did not fix the problem. Now another 10 days and I am still waiting for the complete flush system to arrive.
Kohler turned down my request for free expedited shipping for this second part as its over a month now and the toilet cannot be properly used.
Quite deceiving so far even though in the tank its says" leak tested". This initial negligence and lack of adequate warranty support are quite disappointing for a brand name like Kohler.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0Â by Quan Great Toilet - Efficient Flushing, Seat So So
I waited for about 6 months to replace our old toilets in our house. I found out that our local water district was giving rebates on toilets that use low water flushing consumption (1.28 gal). I was eligible for $50 rebate per toilet. I purchased and replaced 3 toilets in our house. If you live in San Diego county, don't wait too long because the rebate is good until fund is depleted. Also, HD had a $10 coupon code for any purchase over $100. In my case, $60 savings is a great buy and a big motivator!!!
OK, now the review. I purchased the Santa Rosa toilet model for its great features such as flush efficiency, flush mechanism, one-piece design and easy installation. Also, the toilet's elongation shape gives plenty room for your rear. The seat is flimsy but functional as some reviewers had mentioned. If anything, you certainly can buy an upgraded seat if it doesn't suit your needs. For now, I kept the OEM seat.
It took me about 1.5 hours to replace and install each toilet. Crescent wrench, flat head screwdriver and putty knife required for this DIY. I searched and found this great product for the "wax" ring. It's called Toilet Gasket Flexible Waxless Seal (Model # BL01). Made by Sani Seal. This waxless ring made the toilet installation easy, fast and no mess. The waxless ring performed as advertised! Be aware that not all HD carries this waxless ring. I also upgraded the waterline with the braided type (model # B1-12DLF).
If you are thinking of replacing our old toilets, I highly recommend this toilet. Forgive me that I sounded like an HD employee but I am not. Just a homeowner who benefited from other reviewers' recommendation. Good luck with your installation.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0Â by PaulCoMat A Great Flusher - but beware the bad seat
This toilet is fantastic and deserves high ratings all across the board - BUT - see below. Flushes perfectly with amazingly little water and that is a must here in Arizona. I was worried about the footprint because I replaced an old large unit but the base on the Santa Rosa enlongated is large enough to hide about any older footprint and it still looks sleek. Looks like a lot of thought and design went into this to make it a perfect replacement. It is very easy to install and has all the works already mounted inside. It is fairly heavy and you might want to get help to set it. If you damage the hold down bolt threads it will create problems getting the nuts on and you may need to replace the bolts. Just don't forget to get a wax ring. That is a must. If putting on tile or uneven floor get a thick wax ring and make sure to put some grout or caulking under the toilet base and level it before tightening the bolts.
Now for the SEAT. What a piece of junk. I put the old one on and will sell this seat at yard sale for $0.50. I can not understand why anyone would make such a nice quality toilet and include such a poor quality seat. It is thin plastic that is slightly smaller than the toilet rim so for a guy to lift the seat he will rub his fingers aling part of the rim, especially if he has big fingers. NASTY!!!. It is one of those seats that will not stay centered on the rim, it is always lopsided and bends and twists in use. No I am not 300 lbs, only 190. Note the photo and how lopsided the seat is and how far in from the rim it is on the left side and the right side is not that much over the rim. I have remounted it a few times and it is always off.
