Nice looking sink but didnt read the reviews before I bought. Bought and returned two separate sinks because both had badly damaged corners as a result of poor packaging. The thin rim of the sink is not protected by any foam, a simple fix for Kohler but oh well. Im buying a different sink, spare yourself the headache.

As many other reviewers noted, the sink came with some bends in the lip. My husband is removing the dents.

We were wanting a great single bowl sink for the kitchen and this is it. Plenty of room. Easy install. Looks great! Love the grate that comes with it.

I top mounted the sink and like the low profile this product has against the countertop. The installation could have been improved by having brackets that are socket wrench compatible. The product itself could be further improved with a steeper grade at the bottom of the basin from the edges to the drain to allow for easier drainage.

Replaced an over mount Kohler porcelain sink that was showing wear after heavy use of 13 years and moved it to the laundry after cleaning and polishing it. The undermount Vault sink from Kohler has been installed less than two weeks. It already is showing the black & rust colored pit marks. And it's LOUD. The dampening pieces underneath are not nearly as good as other competitive products in the same price range. The heavy metal sink guard has been in use since the water was turned on to avoid scratching the bottom or sides of the sink. I have used these before for the porcelain sink and they work well. I have city water so it's 'conditioned'. There is not enough slope to this sink to get the water and food particles into the drain. You will waste a lot of water getting it clean after use. I have read that you need to wipe it dry after use. Seriously, it's a sink, water happens. Clearly inferior materials. Unfortunately mine is undermount and it would take serious money and time to get another product installed. I have bought Kohler products for three homes. Time to look at competitive products now.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by jlopp Best sink purchase...ever!
This is the only sink I have ever purchased (haha), but it is a great sink! It seems much bigger than the previous sink despite being the same dimensions. I guess being a single bowl and 90 degree angles accounts for that feel. I really did not expect to be wowed by a sink, but I am. Only 4 stars because design of the clips to secure the sink to the counter when dropping-in is really poor. I could only get 4 of the 8 tightened. I don't think companies try to install the stuff they engineer and they really should. If you have someone else install it then this does not matter.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Frankie Beautiful sink, easy install other than clips are not accessible.
I looked everywhere for the perfect sink and couldn't believe how hard it was to find a standard sized 22x33x9 inch sink with 1 hole. This one hit the nail on the head. It is gorgeous, rim is near flat, and it is so nice and deep. I love the modern and clean lines and the squared look rather than rounded. I would buy it again and again for another house. This was my first sink install and while I ran into a million problems, none were due to the sink. It was actually the ONLY thing that I didn't have a problem with.

The first one we received had a crease in the stainless steel. Homedepot were great and expedited another one the next day (in less than 24 hours from returning it!)
Except the edges of the second one were not welded / sealed correctly leaving pin size holes in the 4 bottom corners of the sink! The holes were not immediately noticeable but I'm sure it would have leaked once there was water at the bottom of the sink. Poor workmanship for a $500 sink!
