I searched high and low for a small (but not too small) pedestal sink for a modest-sized kids' bathroom. This sink is perfect for our needs. It saves a few inches but feels plenty big when you're using it, and there is ample space for toiletries. I also love the design, which I wasn't sure about from online pictures. It's very modern and somehow low-profile and eye-catching at the same time. One point to mention: The faucet hole is set a little farther back than it is on some other sinks, so you may want to invest in a slightly longer faucet. We did not know this and our hands sometimes bump against the back of the sink when washing them. Our plumber installed it and said installation was a little tricky but not too bad. All in all a great sink.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Historian Small Footprint, Clean Lines, and Kohler Quality!
We're remodeling one of our bathrooms, and needed to replace a small, ugly and cheap sink/vanity. It is small, because the bathroom is small, so space is at a premium. This Kohler sink is the perfect solution for this bathroom! It is made of quality porcelain, has a small footprint and simple clean lines. To install, the instructions say to run a lag-bolt (not included) in through a hole in the bottom of the base into the floor. In our case, we have porcelain tile and hard concrete under that. Rather than do that, I plan on using a construction adhesive to glue the pedestal in place, then some more where the pedestal meets the sink portion itself, then use the included anchor bolts to attach the sink to the wall. Between the weight involved, and the anchor bolts in the wall, the adhesive should have no problem holding the sink in place in the corner it will sit in. I did a trial assembly, and have to say the pedestal and sink surfaces mate up perfectly. Many porcelain items nowadays are badly cast, and have uneven edges. Not so with this Kohler sink! Trust Kohler for quality! I would most certainly recommend this sink for anyone who wants a classy, simple to install, beautiful sink! Thanks Kohler and Home Depot!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by alwaysathomedepot Updated style, useful design
This pedestal sink looks great in our powder room. The installation was easy to follow with exception that it was written for new installation. Wall anchors were used in lieu of the suggested mounting to a stringer board in the wall to anchor the sink to the wall. We like the added space on the sides of the sink for guest toiletries when they are visiting. The thicker base is elevated and the design looks great. New pedestal sink and new faucet adds an updated look to the powder room.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by EDDIE Simple, Nice and elegant
The pedestal and sink combo fit in perfectly. It was pretty easy to get it together. Just the plumbing was a bit of a headache and it reveals a bit much. It's only noticeable if your looking out for the pipping and all. Besides that it works great and has a pretty white to it. Very sturdy and the pedestal is very solid and strong. The sink has a great space that curves out nicely. I'm overall happy with this.

We chose this design for the clean yet retro look for our home. The installation was very easy and the instructions fairly straight forward.
We paired this sink up with a Kohler faucet (Model # K-72760-SN-98068-3M-SN) from Home Depot. As you can see, each complements each other gracefully.
The sink has a porcelain finish that is easy to wipe clean.
Nice design, well made, easy to install.
The Kohler pedestal sink was well packed to prevent any damage from shipping.

The base and pedestal come packaged separately but arrived together. There is a rough-in required for this installation for basin to wall attachment. I was afraid to mount the porcelain alone since there is no mounting bracket included, so I had a contactor/friend do the wall attachment. There are 3 places that need to be secured. Two are sink to wall, and then of course the pedestal to the floor. All 3 are difficult to reach. Measurements need to be precise but instructions are well written. It comes with the 3 mounting screws/washers and adhesive leveling gaskets. See instructions for tools required. Other items needed are water lines, a faucet and replacement wall caps/back plates around plumbing. I also replaced my water line valves to make things look new and accent the chrome of the faucet. I still have some things to finish up aesthetically, but I love the basin shape with the oversized faucet. The faucet I used is an 8" Kohler Artifacts. A pedestal is inherently more difficult to install than a vanity cabinet, but I really like the finished product. It's also really easy to clean. I have been moving toward a more minimalist style and like that having no vanity cabinet really opens up the powder-room.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TerminatorToo Clean, Modern Look, but Installation Cautions
I really like this sink; it was the final piece of updating a half bath. It is heavy and solid. It also looks great, provides adequate flat surface for placing items, and has a bowl with good volume. The sink carries a 1-year limited warranty.
NOTE: The Ease of Installation rating of Average should not be viewed as being against the product, but against the situation/location in which it was installed. The Lessons Learned are for your viewing should you be considering buying this or any other pedestal sink:
1) Get a helper; even though the product comes in 2 pieces, both are heavy - it's also in the first Warning of the installation instructions
2) Location #1 - many of the mechanical and plumbing connections are made from underneath or on the backside; consider how you get adequate access
3) Location #2 - the pedestal gets anchored to the floor; what is the floor material? Anchoring to wood is easier than concrete, particularly since it's done within pedestal from the back
4) Location #3 - the sink gets anchored to bracing added behind the finished wall surface; is it a load bearing wall? If it is, consider how you will add the bracing.
5) Did I say get a helper? Due to limited access, the faucet set/drain mechanism are best installed prior to placing the sink on the pedestal, so it gets even heavier.
So I did it to myself, lesson learned; maybe understanding what you might encounter will allow you to make an informed decision. HOWEVER, after all that, I love this sink, but would use it in a more open location if I had one!
I would recommend this product.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by BathtubBOB High quality pedestal..
I had the opportunity to instal this pedestal. As a buyer you must realize the pedestal type vanity is one of the most difficult to install of all free standing sinks. It is due to the difficulty of attaching and tightening the drains in such a cramped space in the pedestal itself. After refinishing the wall after removing the original pedestal It was no problem leveling and attaching unit to studs in the wall. I was lucky since the previous unit was installed properly. There is no permanent pedestal attachment to my tile floor so I just used silicone sealer which works wonderfully. The installation of the water fixture was good. I optioned to use a push to seal type drain for ease of install and better function.
The color( white) was not a match though. The sink was a shade different than the pedestal itself. Mostly this didn't matter in the confines of a small bathroom. It was not due to reflectivity. The unit also has a nice level lip and will support a small amount of bathroom "things" like a small soap dispenser.
