Be very wary of Kohler sinks. I needed to replace a 15 year old Kohler cast iron sink. Ordered replacement Kohler sink from Home Depot. It had a defective coating. The next replacement did also. Kohler authorized replacements and we went to stainless steel. The first replacement was dinged and warped out of the box. The second had a ding in the same spot. Finally the last one I had inspected prior to shipping and again upon arrival at Home Depot. It still had a small warp in it which I was able to straighten out. HD staff helpful, but Kohler products are of poor quality. I would never again buy or recommend Kohler. They are expensive and poor quality. How many sinks do you have to order to get one that's acceptable??? Shouldn't be five!!!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Fred Ok sink for the money
This sink is made in Mexico. The quality is ok, not great. A USA Made 18 gauge 304 stainless steel sink cost $1,069. I paid $449.25 for the sink plus $45.11 for the Duostrainer (not including tax). I would have purchased the USA Made sink if we were redoing the entire kitchen. The sink has a slight 3/16" arch in the front (not in the countertop). I was able to pull the arch down so that the sink was flush with the countertop with additional clips (the bowl of the sink is stressed though). That left me short on clips for the sides and rear. I called Kohler and they sent me a Hardware Kit #1177160 with more clips next day FedX. The Duostrainer slides around a bit during assembly, make certain that you get the cross centered. Do not over tighten any fastener in this install as they are light weight. Better quality and a round rubber gasket fastened to the sink base would be nice! To conclude, the sink is in, looks nice and my wife is happy!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Joken BEWARE..NOT DURABLE!!
Love the size, design, finish, and quiet of this sink. Paired it with a Moen Gooseneck faucet..fabulous!
CONS: NOT DURABLE, SCRATCHES WAY TO EASY...after scrubbing a Tupperware bowl I was heartbroken to find so many scratches. Overnight soak of a bowl left a ring stain that won't wash out. We have to be very careful with this sink and wipe it dry after every use! I had to get a costly sink rack to protect my sink but it makes wiping the sink after every use a pain! I've had this sink since 3/3/2016 and I am ready to rip it out!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ilaj I love this sink
Replaced a 25-yo double-bowl sink that was 33" x 22". Not much choice in replacement single-bowl sinks. This is a lovely sink but be careful because it does scratch. This sink isn't for someone who wants to fill up the sink to do dishes. I teamed it w/a Kohler Simplice Single Hole Pull-down Kitchen Faucet in Vibrant Stainless. I love the look.
My plumber didn't know that Kohler drop-in sinks do not come with clips to hold them in place. After two trips to my local Home Depot, I learned that these clips aren't needed to hold the sink in place.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DJN231 Dissapointed that this is a Kohler Sink
This looks like a very low end sink with a very high price. The mounting bar underneath is very flimsy and you can see a line through the finish all the way around the sink where they mounted this bar. The clips that hook to the bar to mount the sink are very difficult to use and flimsey, not sure how long they will last. Finish is poor and scratches very easily. Made in Mexico and not well.

I love having one big basin! I can soak my big
turkey-roasting pan and large casserole dish without having to set it on the counter-top.
