Customer Questions & Answers

How can I get a brush bronze nozzle for a vinnetta faucet

Asked by: Batman
I would call Kohler customer service. 800-456-4537. I registered my product and they shipped replacement parts to me for free. My faucet is 7 years old and I was able to get parts for it. Do not purchase the parts. Ask to get them for free as part of your warranty.

Is there a smaller version of the Vinnata available for bar sinks?

Asked by: Missie
Yes. Its the Vinnata k691, bar sink faucet. The larger faucet is the k690.

What size 3-hole faucet will this fit?

My plumber told me to get an 8" faucet. This says it'll fit 3 holes, but doesn't say what size.
Asked by: mwynn13
The included base plate will cover outer holes on 8" centers..

Which direction(s) does the handle turn? Forward, backward, both?

We have limited clearance behind the faucet before it will bump the window/backsplash. I understand that the handle can be installed to the front, left or right, but would like to avoid a front-mount. When turning on the Vinnata, does the handle move toward you or away? Thanks for your response.
Asked by: RosieB
Handle moves out to the side to turn on and you push it forward and back for temperature control. Protrudes maybe an inch form the body of the faucet.

I loved my Kohler Vinnata faucet in brushed bronze when I had it first installed in 2010. Unfortunately this faucet does not hold up. After about 6 months of use the the decorative cap piece (to the left of the on/off handle) started popping off. The cover will pop off if the handle is not in perfect allignment. The cover snaps onto a plastic ring. Not a big deal but you do have to line it up and snap it back on pretty frequently. It is now 2017 and the part of the handle that attaches to the valve stem broke. The handle would just flop down. There is a valve stem adapter that the handle is screwed to with an allen wrench. I can not get it to work properly. The valve stem adapter they sent is brass (they don't make it in the VB color) and you can see it when you turn the faucet on/off. The piece does not fit properly either. When I can get the handle on the cover pops off or if it is working properly the valve stem adapter comes lose and the handle flops down. This expensive faucet has become a total headache. Kohler has been nice sending me replacement parts for free, but I am beyond frustrated with the time and the thought of how much I spent on this faucet. Poor design.

However - the installation was a challenge. The complaint I have is the large metal screw piece (that holds the faucet down) was oblong. The oblong part made it impossible for me to tighten the part. This part of the faucet holds the faucet under the sink. I also ended up getting a neighbor to help. He held down the faucet while I threaded the old part onto the new faucet. The old part came from an older (same faucet). And speaking of the old faucet, the only reason we replaced it was the handle would not come off. That prevented us from repairing the mechanism to control the hot and cold water.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this faucet! I was in the process of remodeling our kitchen, but was very hesitant to purchase a spray built into the spout of the faucet. I liked the appearance of the Vinnata (even though it appears to be huge in comparison to others), but I had seen so many other faucets in home centers with the sprays just dangling from the spouts. I did not want to have to cope with that! Finally I was able to "test" a Vinnata at a home center and was pleased to discover that the spray head went firmly back into place. I decided to give it a try and am I glad I did! It is a wonderful addition to our remodeled kitchen, both in looks and performance. The ease with which the spray head changes flow and the single handle adjusts pressure and temperature is terrific. A great choice!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Faucet - Kohler backs product Overall this is a very nice faucet and makes a stunning focal point in your kitchen with its size and nice arch. After approx. 7yrs of use, the little black cover on the faucet head protecting the spray selector came apart and basically fell out. No worries as Kohler backs this model with a lifetime waranty. I called Kohler and guess what, they cannot send me the replacement head because my finish was discontinued, instead, they said pick a new finish and we will send out a whole new unit!! Thanks Kohler! Is the faucet expensive? YES. Will you be covered if it ever breaks or has issues, YES. Overall I guess that is a pretty good deal.....

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Faucet But........... After 8 years of use the rubber button which controls the spray broke off. Didn't expect this on an expensive faucet so I called Kohler customer service and they sent an entire new spray head, no charge. Turns out the faucet has a lifetime warranty. For everyone who has complained about the cost of replacement parts you did not have to pay anything to fix this unless you needed a plumber to do the work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a great faucet We wanted a new faucet that could reach over a large pasta kettle. We also wanted a pullout feature so we could easily reach anywhere in the sink. We recognized that this faucet would do the job, we just didn't realize how much we would enjoy it. This faucet is bigger than we thought it would be. It towers over the biggest pot and yet gets right in close when you need it to. The spray pattern button is also right there when you need it. Installation was easy. This really is a great faucet. Finally our kitchen is complete. Best part? My wife loves it. Happy wife, happy life!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish, Excellent Quality, Multi-Function Faucet We were very pleased with the purchase of this faucet and the quality is excellent. The brushed chrome finish is beautiful and does not show fingerprints. It offers both the normal downstream plus a forceful pull out spray from the top of the faucet. It has a simple stylish non-cluttered appearance and looks great with our new granite countertops. It was an excellent purchase and I would recommend this faucet to anyone.
