Customer Questions & Answers

What is the cost for the filtration cartridges and how long do they last?

Asked by: JAM
Hi Jam. My name is Tiffany from Kohler Co. I'm happy to answer the questions about the Wellspring faucet filter cartridges. The filters range in price $75-$135 depending on which distributor that it's ordered from. Longevity can vary based on used, however filter cartridges should be replaced every 3-6 months, when capacity has been exceeded, or when a noticeable decrease in flow is observed.. The filter head and other components should be changed after 10 years to be ensure proper functioning.

Why did the Faucet + optional water filtration system I bought online not include a cartridge?

I bought KOHLER Model # K-6666-F-2BZ Internet # 203783014 Wellspring Single Handle Bar Faucet with optional water filtration system in Oil-Rubbed Bronze. When I opened the box the other parts were there (faucet, filter head, hoses etc) but no cartridge. Do I have to purchase the cartridge separately or should it have been a part of the system I bought and was just missing in my order?
Asked by: cba2s
Hello, my name is Aimee with Kohler Customer Service. I am happy to assist you with your faucet question. Model 6666-F-2BZ does not come with the cartridge because the water filtration system is an optional feature. To purchase this additionally, you will need to purchase either model 201-NA or 202-NA. Please work with your local Home Depot for pricing and availability on this product. Thank you for choosing the Bold Look of KOHLER.
