Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by jk1982 Attractive standard size toilet
We have a smaller bathroom & needed a standard size toilet for it. We have been happy with our chair height Kohlers, so bought the same in the same size. The biscuit color is very light, not as dark as we expected, but still goes well in our bathroom. Surprisingly the price for biscuit is much higher than for white. We paid to have a plumber install the toilet because of time constraints but my husband is good at DIY & could have handled it himself with little or no difficulty. The only unexpected negative was the discovery that this toilet did not come with a toilet seat. My husband had to go out and pick one up after the install. However, once we had a seat, we have been happy with our choice.

Had a problem with the first bowl, on a 12 inch rough in it left the tank 2 inches from the wall, which is not acceptable. After contacting Kohler they sent a new bowl to Home Depot, I had to pick it up, the first one was home delivered and had to do a re install. The new one is okay but my time to pick it up, do a re install and the cost of a new wax ring was very inconvenient. Kohler sent a new bowl but my the extra work and expense was unneeded.
It is a nice toilet and gives a good flush w/o a lot of water.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Raah Good toilet but flush not as strong as anticipated
I ordered a Kohler because we have had other Kohler toilets and I was happy with the flushing capability. This one doesn't have as strong of a flush as my other Kohler toilets even though it is described as Class 5 technology. Also, the toilet I received is marked as 1.6 gallons or less per flush rather than 1.28 gallons as described. It was very easy to install, even for an amateur like myself.

It was easy to install and works fine. I like the styling of Crane products better, but picked this Kohler one because it was the brand that Home Depot carried and it met my other requirement. I needed something short (wall to front of bowl) and this product did best on that measurement.
It had all that I needed to install it in the box except the wax ring and the water supply line.

Delivered in a couple of days with in-store pickup. I was replacing a 40 year toilet, so I was concerned that the set back from the wall would be short, leaving a 1" gap between the back of the toilet tank and wall. I preferred to have the tank flush with the wall. But the plumber who installed it was easily able to set it back as there was a little play with both the bowl and the tank, although he had to be careful to make sure the tank was level before he tightened it on permanently. I was worried about noise, but this is a pretty quiet toilet, and the flush is shorter because it uses so much less water than the one I was replacing. The round bowl was the right choice for a small bathroom. The only thing I wish I realized is that the tank is so much smaller than the one that was there. So be sure the wall behind is in good shape.
Be sure to pick up Johnny Bolts and the correct size supply line if you are going to install the toilet yourself, and if you need it, a new toilet seat.

Takes 2 flushes almost everytime. Also, I purchased 2. The rubber ring around the Class 5 flush system warped and did not effectively seal the tank. Water ran constantly. When we detached the tank from the bowl in order to replace the flush system, the ceramic around the bolts was cracked or about to dissolve. A replacement would have cost $110; almost as much as a full unit. I went back to my old style toilet as the ceramic was better made and the class 5 system was a bust. After all said and done, saved me $5/month on my water bill even though I installed 2. That is because our ill is mostly fixed charges and has very little to do with consumption.
