It is an excellent toilet you could possibly get for the price( You could get $175 rebates for this unit). Very efficient, quiet and stylish toilet. Easy installation. I will give it a full recommendation.

Purchased as a special order. It was left in the box until plumber arrived to install (I was not present for the unboxing). When I arrived home, the toilet was installed but had a large crack in the base of the toilet. I contacted the plumber (whom I've known for many years and who has worked on my home and many client's homes) and asked about it - he indicated that there was no crack there when he left the house. I texted him a photo and he said that, yes, that would be problem. Also, the tank appeared to lean forward towards the bowl at an awkward angle. The plumber also noted that bolts were missing from the packaging and the decorative bolt caps were also missing (maybe a return item?). While he may have overtightened the bolts, he indicated that he's never cracked a toilet in 30 years by over-tightening, so it may have been a defect. I had him install a new toilet and trashed the new toilet that had just been installed, as I had no way of knowing if it was s defect or faulty installation.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ElPasoMom Excellent toilet for the price!
My plumber said that this is a great toilet and we won't have any trouble with it. The only service that will need to be done is to change the canister seal (the seal that holds the water in the tank when the toilet is not being flushed) approximately yearly. Changing the canister seal is easy enough for me to do myself. We like this toilet so much that we've changed all 3 of our toilets to this Class Five Flush technology over the past year. Also, design of toilet is such that it seems to get dirty less than other toilets I've owned.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by ndheathen Looks great, but can clog
A pro of this is that it uses less water than a traditional toilet, but a con of that is that it can clog somewhat easily, and due to the nature of the outflow it can be difficult to get a typical cheap plunger to plunge correctly. We had a professional install it so I can't speak to installation.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by John Kohler toilet good for height under counter, no toilet seat and wax ring
Had to pay extra for wax seal and toilet seat. Tank bolts were a little hard to install. Toilet height is 28" to fit under counter was reason I bought. Easy to transport - 2 boxes.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MCinLF Strong flush - Quiet fill
Pro: The toilet works very well. We have two other Kohler toilets, and they are the comfort height. This model is a standard height (15"). Very easy to install.
Con: The plunger mechanism was installed poorly. The fill shaft was tipped at a slight angle; which caused the float to hang up as the water filled. I had to loosen the connection and rotate the shaft so it was closer to a vertical position and allowed the float to move up with as the tank water level rose.

Have been considering swapping out my 1.6g Wellworth toilets installed in 2001. Have done minor replacements such as installing flow restricting fill valves. Toilet seats don't last for 12 years either, but don't be cheap when replacing them...spend a little more now or you will have to keep replacing them. The 1.6g have been discontinued but if if the 1.28g are true to form then it should be a Classic.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by B2 As described
I ordered this online because it is the only way to get a 14" height model. The first one I picked up had an edge broken. Kohler's packaging is deficient in a key area. The phone and in store customer service for return and exchange was excellent. The toilet was easy to install and works well as described.
