The lever style drain in brushed nickel trim we would recommend to go with tub model number 1114-GRA-0 would be model numbers 37382-NA and T37394-BN

Thank you for your inquiry. It is not something that is recommened. If you would access the plumbing through the floor, you would have to make sure the hole is covered so no dirt or moisture would get into the area.
