Just curious how you go about filling this soap dispenser? Currently I have one that unscrews from underneath the kitchen sink and it's a nightmare to refill. I hope this one refills from the top. Thanks!

Answer:
I have installed this faucet on a stainless steel sink and no plywood was required. I assume this might add strength to prevent the faucet from having "some play" side to side, but am not aware it is required.

Answer:
It reaches approximately 9" into the sink. For my install that is all the way to the bottom of the sink.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 56 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just what I wanted. I must be biased toward Kohler products. Kohler seems to have their design and quality aspects high enough to look and function like "high end" gear, but has managed to keep the pricing at a reasonable level. Instructions and installation are clear and simple. Actual install required about 1/2 hour, including removal of the old faucet. Please note that I was replacing the disposer at the same time. Once I had the old disposer out, access to faucet connections was easier. August 30, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by easy installation, works well. October 25, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Kohler Single-Handle Faucet Have only for 2 weeks, but love this new faucet. The only thing i don't like about it is it must have a gadget that causes it to move back to the left when i have moved it right. But it is still a great faucet. October 25, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Problem with faucet head retracting properly We have the same problem as another reviewer stated with the retraction of the faucet head. It is not well designed and doesn't really work as a consumer expects. I expect it will retract all the way back into the faucet unassisted as my Moen and Pfister kitchen faucets have in the past. We also have to push the head back into the neck of the faucet unless it is perfectly lined up. I called Customer Support, they are sending me another weight. I really do not think this is going to fix the problem as we have watched it retract and it is not obstructed; once you jiggle the faucet head it completes retraction. I agree it is a design flaw. Robert on the Kohler support line was pleasant, is sending me a weight, but told me "these are designed this way" and indicated the head needs assistance to complete retraction. I explained to him I have had other manufacturer's faucets, Pfister and Moen, and theirs never required assistance. I honestly will probably not buy another Kohler if this continues to happen and it saddens me to say that as I wanted to buy from and support a local company. The faucets looks nice and works well otherwise. It was not difficult to install. September 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Extremely Pleased Had faucet installed with new stainless steel sink and granite countertops. Looks and works great! October 25, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible Horrible faucet.. Within less than one month the handle has broken twice. The metal inside the handle is really cheap. October 13, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Valve started leaking It looked great and worked well until its valve started leaking today. I had to come home at noon and was surprised to see water on my hardwood floor near kitchen sink. Then, I found water dripping from the Kohler faucet which was bought and installed in February. Very disappointing! October 10, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by 2 Flaws 1) the weigthing system to retract the faucet head is not well designed and doesnt really work as intended. We have to basically push the head back into the neck of the faucet. 2) the handle that controls hot and cold doesn't work right. The only way to get the water hot is to have the handle pulled all the way down as opposed to the water being gradually hotter as you turn the handle. Additionally, when the handle is in the only position to get hot water the water pressure is significantly reduced. My water pressure was not this way on hot with the old faucet and i checked the lines and no blockage or kinks. So, something just seems off. August 11, 2016
