We installed this sink ourselves with the Kraus one-handle faucet I previously reviewed and a Kitchen Aid disposal (not sold at HD) and we have loved it from the moment we opened the box! It is super deep and the bowl on the left is monstrous! I can put my pans in there flat and wash them. For washing regular dishes we use the smaller side and rinse in the larger side. Our previous sink, builder installed, was 6 inches deep. Wow, what a difference. It is stainless, so you do have to combat water spots if you don't wipe it down. But I spray a little Windex and it shines like a new penny. Such a great improvement for a reasonable price.

I absolutely love the size of this sink. I can now wash large pots and pans with ease. However, if I even look at this sink wrong it scratches. Plastic, glass, metal...all leave marks in the bottom. I have very hard water so I dry it after each use, which would be near impossible if I put some sort of protective grate or cover in there.
I also had difficulty installing it as it was slightly larger than the cutout in my countertop. I only needed to take about 1/8" off the front and side but that was much more difficult than it sounds. Not to mention it required a trip to Home Depot, extra money spent, and covered everything in my kitchen in dust.
I would have a hard time recommending this sink to a friend.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 2327 This is a well built quality sink.
This product is very high quality compared to most of the other sinks available in this price range.
Comes in its own special box inside a protective canvas bag, very nice.
The only complaint we have is it seems to show the slightest scratches from just normal use.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by dmldml Good product at a good price
Weather (apparently somewhere I don't live) delayed the UPS shipment but the product was packaged very well - in a nice reusable hardboard box and also draped in a black drawstring bag. All the accessories (a towel, the drains, the attachment hardware) were easy to find and a cut-out template was included. The sink is constructed well and appears to be durable. The installation and care instructions are clear and the literature included indicated Krauss' pride in their stuff.
One note - not negative just important for a DYI'er - the sink, though nominally the same dimensions as the one I replaced, was larger in both directions. Enough that I had to cut an additional ~1/2" perimeter on two sides. This is WAY better than the other way around - smaller than the hole. But it does suggest that the alternate scenario is possible (sink falls through existing hole) so I suggest your folks check the actual hole in your counter before you purchase a new sink. And then buy Krauss - because theirs are big :)

This is a beautiful sink and is great quality. However, the sink has 4 holes. Even though the site says 1 predrilled hole and shows one predrilled hole, it actually has 4 predrilled holes! I talked to Krauss and they are only made with 4 holes and come with covers. My faucet is 1 hole. Even if I bought a 4 hole faucet, it would offset it to the right and look ridiculous. I will now have to return the sink and find antoerh option.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dave Nice sink
The large basin is BIG. It's deep, wide, and tall. Excellent for washing large pots and pans. Exactly what we wanted.
We're pleased with the weight and finish of the product.
A few notes:
1) The included sink clips do not work well on thicker counter tops (this isn't unusual).
2) One of the included strainer baskets is a bit odd. When you see it, you may decide to get a standard one. It wasn't an issue for us because we installed a disposal.
3) If you are replacing a normal sink, you may need to do some significant work on the drain pipes because these drains are in a non-standard location in the basin (which is great, just a caveat for installation).
We were a little apprehensive about having a sink shipped, but it worked out well. The shipping container was impressive in it's protective ability. No need to worry, not even UPS could damage this thing.
Overall, a good product.

This product was only available online so I couldn't see it in the store. It arrived via UPS in the sturdiest box I have ever seen. The product was in the box wrapped in a soft cloth bag. Wow, I thought to myself. This is great! Until we took it out and set in the new counter top. THere was a small dent in the front edge. I couldn't take my eyes away from the flaw. My contractor was able to smooth it out so no one notices it but me.
The plumber was booked a week in advance we decided to use it and not wait another week or more for a sink. The plumber installed the sink and faucet. We ran water to be sure all was well and then left it for the sealant to dry. The next day, there were rust spots in a line across the bottom of the sink. This break in the sink had to be that way from the factory since we had not touched it.
For something that was a little pricier than other options and shipped with such care, I expected perfect. Instead I have a brand new kitchen with very flawed sink.
