Kraus consistently offers great products that are hefty, durable and high quality. This is no exception.
The single lever moves easily and fluidly and simple adjustments allow for a good, even and consistent temperature adjustment. The aerator, which is the thing subdues the water flow so it doesn't splash all over and helps to reduce water consumption, does its job and restricts water flow to an acceptable hand washing level. Mind you this is no kitchen sink water pressure faucet and it's not meant to be...
One important note is that the actual finish is remarkably different than pictured on the HD site. Please see my image below. You'll note that the oil rubbed bronze is a bit more distressed looking in reality as there are shiny bronze areas around the beveled rings. This is not necessarily a bad thing however when you're trying to match this to other hardware, you need to be advised and choose accordingly.
Overall - great price point, great look, great faucet.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by soldbydon Finish is Not As Pictured
The picture looks nice - but the oil rubbed bronze finish has an almost black appearance with copper rings around the spout, base and neck - which makes the faucet look quite different from the picture. This is a nice decorator touch if you like that type of style, but if you are trying to match other bath fixtures it may be an issue. The rod that operates the drain is of flexible plastic rather than stainless steel like other brands of faucets; hopefully it will be durable. On the plus side the faucet has braided stainless steel water lines and excellent instructions for assembly. Can be used installed with or without the deck plate.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Jason31 nice look, right flow for a bathroom
This is a nice looking faucet, the oil rubbed bronze is dark, with bright highlights on the edges. The water flow is not high, but this is just right for a bathroom, I don't like the faucets that have a strong spray and splash everywhere. The handle moves easily and mixed to warm water right in the middle.
The installation was average for a bathroom faucet, it comes with the hoses attached, but they were a few inches short for me and I had to buy longer hoses. It's a simple fix, but you may want to check the height of your water supply lines, as some are lower than they are supposed to be.

I love this faucet!! Super stylish, single-handle, easy to use, great water pressure and easy to clean. What more can a faucet do? Oh yeah,.. it can install in a snap. Which this one did. Great quality details in the install. Not sure if the base plate is intended to be optional but I didn't install it and I didn't use silicone around the faucet and no issues. It's a nice clean mount on a very tiny, corner-mount sink I have in a very small bathroom that I recently remodeled. Absolutely adorable combination! I was able to install the faucet on the sink before mounting so it saved me from the usual basin wrench and laying on your back, fiddling in the dark corners of your cabinet scenario. So it was a breeze to install. Note no plumber's putty around the basin stopper. It has a very nice rubber gasket. It really doesn't get any easier or elegant. I like the look without the base plate a lot better than with it. So easy and a perfect application for a corner-mount sink.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by GaryDoug Good faucet, terrible instructions
First, let me complain about the documents. The instructions are full of errors. If you are not familiar with faucet installation, have someone explain the instructions who is familiar. I will point out the errors below.
The faucet I received is not like the photo as others have complained. It is black with copper colored accent rings. Doesn't matter to me, I like it. But be aware of this important difference.
The faucet installation was relatively easy once I corrected the instruction sheet errors. Ordinary installation with n o further problems. The water flow is a bit less than my older faucet but that is not an issue for me. As a matter of fact that will probably make for less splatter, always a problem for me. The pop-up drain worked well. The ball/rod and extension are plastic and flex a bit. That may be an issue in the future if the ball tightens with age.
The errors I found:
1. The parts diagram incorrectly identifies some parts. The simple o-ring is described as a trim ring but I believe it's to be used under the faucet and on top of the basin as a seal. I did not find a good fit anywhere else. The instructions make no other mention of it.
2. The cone-shaped rubber ring is to be used on the drain seal below the basin top. It is also described as a trim ring for the faucet head.
3. The ball/rod tool is the metal Y-shaped one. It is used to final tighten the ball/rod onto the drain body. No mention of that in the instructions either.
4. The metal L-shaped tool is an Allen wrench used to remove and reinstall the handle. you remove the plastic plug in the back of the handle first. No mention in the instructions again.
Attached photos show these parts and tools in position.
Once again I am finding a basically good product marred by poor instructions. This seems to be happening more and more often,
I assumed wrongly that the 3-hole trim plate would work for me but unfortunately my vanity top (also received from Home Depot) has the holes much wider spaced than standard. I will probably add plugs and/or soap dispensers.
I found no ferrous (rust-able) material on the outside of any part. Even the C-shaped mounting plate that goes underneath is stainless steel.
I was willing to give the product 5 stars except for the instruction sheet issues.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by home Photo not accurate - has copper colored accents
We loved this faucet as pictured on homedepot.com - however when the Arcus faucet arrived, it had 3 very noticeable, bright orangey-copper colored rings. One around the faucet opening, one around the handle, and another at the base. We specifically piked this faucet for its seemingly dark appearance and are really disappointed with the gaudy copper accents and the fact that they aren't visible in the product photo.

I ordered this faucet for a bathroom remodeling I'll be doing in the spring. Before placing the order I did a web search to see what problems, if any, other people were having with the installation or function of this unit. By far the vast majority were very pleased with their purchase. One reoccurring negative was a problem with the plastic drain assembly. The included instructions clearly state," Place a ring of silicone sealant around drain opening of sink. NOTE: Please do not use plumber's putty on plastic components." The users who complained of cracked drains used plumber's putty. Also, Kraus recommends removing the aerator prior to running the water for the first time. This is a common practice to flush the lines of any manufacturing debris that may have been overlooked. Some complained the aerator was too difficult to remove and reinstall because it's recessed and sits flush with the bottom of the spout. Kraus includes a tool for this which makes the job fast and easy. Lastly, the image on the HD site doesn't show the copper colored accent rings. I think they add a touch of elegancy but others don't agree. Be advised, they're there. You either like them or you don't. If you've ever installed a faucet you'll find no surprises with this one. If this is your first faucet, simply read and follow the instructions, it's easy. The included deck plate can be used if your sink has the standard 4 inch 3 hole pattern. You'll need the basic tools. An adjustable wrench, Phillips screwdriver, silicone sealant and Teflon tape. The instructions are well written and clearly illustrated. Although it's not mentioned, as a general rule, I always add a small amount of silicone sealant under the deck plate gasket to insure a leak-free installation. Kraus is an excellent company that stands behind their products with a limited lifetime warranty. Note: Original sales receipt is required. With the dozens of positive five star reviews I've read I'm sure this faucet will provide years and years of trouble free service.
