The listing says this has a 1.8 gpm flow rate, but it's also listed as having an adjustable flow rate. Does that mean the flow rate can be higher than 1.8 gpm? And, if so, how is the adjustment made?

Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for your inquiry. The flow rate cannot be truly adjusted via the spout. However, you may increase the flow rate in the sprayer by removing the check valve. Just unscrew the sprayer from the hose and pop out the yellow and white check valve. This will increase the volume of water considerably. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Thank you,
Charlie

Do you have to continually hold a spray button for spray or can you lock it to be able to spray hands-free, and if it does lock, does it revert back to a normal flow after the water is shut off? I cycle the water on and off when washing the dishes, and I want it to stay on spray when I turn it back on.

Thanks for your inquiry.
There is a locking mechanism on the spray head itself which will allow the spray feature to remain engaged. It will remain the primary water source while the spray head is in this locked position and can be turned off and on with the spray still being engaged. Once the latch is released, the spray head will need to be operated manually as the pot filler will be the primary water Read More

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by easy install and use Love it Love It Love it ! My only issue is the soap pump as is with all other soap pumps it loses its prime and you have to fight with it to get soap April 2, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by High grade Faucet for the money Best faucet around for the money, solid brass, triple plated, easy installation, other brands are 1/2 plastic, the quality of this unit is outstanding August 1, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quality Item I was looking for something "special" for our kitchen. My plumber recommended Delta or Moen, but neither of those manufacturers made a pre-rinse type faucet for home use: Delta does make a professional pre-rinse, but it was too large and more money than I wanted to spend. I asked my plumber about the Krauss brand, but he said he did not know anything about it. I ordered this item as it was the only one I could find that had everything I wanted (stainless, pot filler, pre-rinse with a valve in the spray head). When I received the item I was extremely pleased with the quality of workmanship. When it came time to install the faucet, my plumber and contractor were both taken back by the quality. The unit looks great in our kitchen. Only time will tell about its durability, but based on initial reactions to Krauss's quality of work, I do not think there will be any issues. August 12, 2014
