Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Performed perfectly right out of the box The unit arrived on time and fired up with one pull. No pump leaks are evident, and the machine has a strong engine that requires little effort to start. I liked the gas shut-off, gas tank screen, spark kill switch, and the overall design of the colapsable handle. I have just changed the oil as recommended after the first five hours of use. I did secure the pressure hose to the rear of the frame to insure that the hose never comes in contact with the hot muffler. So far I have not tested the detergent dispensing feature , but I would recommend this model to anyone who needs a truly portable machine that has good power. January 13, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome power washer! My machine arrived on time. The box was beaten up, but the machine was ok. The Karcher started on the first pull, after a very simple get ready process. So far, I have cleaned the entire house exterior, and now am washing the pool enclosure using a telescoping wand that I bought at a competitor. This is my second Karcher power washer. I sent my first machine to S. America where I use it on my home there. The 2800 PSI does an awesome job, without the use of any chemicals or detergents. Good machine for the money! December 18, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by judgments after 2 weeks? HD asks for a review but after a couple weeks and 3 uses, any evaluation is based on limited experience. Like the previous one at first but it didn't last. So within the very limited experience with the machine, it's good. Has started every time -- though I'm not thrilled with position of pull start -- between engine and handles used to move it. Not as bad as it looked at first but still far from optimum. Will see how it holds up. August 21, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice pressure washer I am very pleased with this pressure washer. It was very easy to assemble, maneuvers easily on the pneumatic tires, and does a very good job cleaning decks, siding, and concrete sidewalks/driveway. I am a little disappointed with the soap dispenser tank in that the top keeps coming off during use. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase. August 13, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good value works well. I've used the power washer for about 3 hours running time. It works well and was a good value. Starts with a single pull. April 29, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very Disappointed! I was looking forward to this Karcher p/w but was very disappointed. Before purchasing I sent Karcher an email query asking if this model came with a Honda engine (their website did not say either way) but - no response; I bought it anyway, hoping for the best. It came with a 'Loncin' engine (certainly appears to be a Honda knock-off). I would been Ok with it if it worked but it was just a pain in the butt to start, restart, and it ate a surprising amount of gas; I had to re-fill frequently then would have trouble re-starting. (but didn't keep it long enough to determine if it was a too small tank or actual gas useage) I used the machine on three occasions, about 4-5 hours total; it was hard starting, re-starting, and worst, began stopping on it's own (sputtered slowly to a stop - maddening!); I suspected gas starvation (BTW I was using fresh gas) and found plastic manufacturing debris in the tank outlet filter (nice quality control!), but ultimately believe it was a blocked vent in the gas cap (more QC issues) - it ran Ok with the cap removed and then with a new cap. I still would have kept it but the hard starting/re-starting did it for me. There were some decent features (nice handle design made it easy to wheel around) but others that made you scratch your head. Ex: storage slots for the different tips was made of hard plastic - really, really difficult to get in & out, and the detergent cap would vibrate loose every single time. I'm happy to try different brands, but in this case it was 'Go Honda or Go Home'. Note: Kudos to HD. I'm a small General Contractor and shop there frequently; even though this was ordered on line, they took it back with no questions asked. December 26, 2012
