Good Idea. I just wish it was more durable over time. I used this on sinks with a garbage disposal. They vibrate a lot and would cause a pvc trap to come loose. This is a good solution for that problem This is my third one. The first one got hard and brittle and leaked over time. I put a second one on next and kept an out it. It had a sticky substance coming off of it. So I changed it with a black rubber Fernco drain trap that comes with Hose clamps .

pointless

i almost never see a clog happen in the p trap its usually in the tee in the wall or a clog in a elbow fitting. even if it was in the p trap i don't think it would work
