Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great cheap straps for simple yard tasks I wouldn't trust these straps to hold cargo in my truck, but they are great for simple tasks around the house. One of the things I've used these cheap ratcheting straps was to secure bushes/vines to property walls. The rose bushes and vines that cover the back wall of my rental property had grown too big and couldn't support themselves anymore without falling over. So, mounted a few eyebolts through the wall every six feet or so and used a few of these straps to pull and hold the massive mess of bushes back into place. They have held strong for well over a year and are not seen once the plants grow over them. September 14, 2012
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by They're cheap, but they're cheap I used these to tie-down a load when I was moving. These only have a 300lb working load limit but the nylon stretched with less weight. I only moved 300 miles but had to tighten the straps every 50 miles. I'm hoping they won't stretch anymore but won't trust them for the long haul. The good news is they were dirt cheap. I'm saying I won't recommend but that doesn't mean they may not be useful to you, especially at the price. May 1, 2012
