Looking for an attractive storage idea that assemble easily and fits with most decor for inside or outside use? You can expect all of that from this Keter Plastic Rattan Cabinet.
Arriving in a large box, the cabinet assembles easily in about 30 minutes or so. The simple directions included could use a bit of work for clarity, but if you follow the pictures everything quickly falls into place fast. No tools are needed. This can be assembled by one person without issue. Everything during assembly, including the shelves, snap-lock securely into place and once completed this cabinet is quite sturdy while being lightweight enough to move around if needed.
My favorite feature is the rattan look to the cabinet doors. It looks so much better than the bland flat plastic cabinet we were using on the deck to store outdoor items. The texture and engraving on the doors is done right and looks great. We have ours on the covered section of the deck and it look very nice, not out of place at all. The chocolate color used for the plastic has a nice appeal compared to the usual blacks and greys and compliments the rattan look. The rattan pattern is only on the doors though, the sides have a small relief design but are mostly flat.
The plastic used is durable to impact and has some give to it, which means it won't crack easily if a door is slammed or someone bumps into it. Being a softer plastic, it will get surface scratches rather easily.
You have some options on placing the four included shelves and you can move them easily at any time. The manual says each shelf can hold 55 pounds.
The front doors can be locked if this is used for outdoor storage, the moulded handles have a hole for a padlock and they snap shut securely.
Assembled cabinet: 72.5 inches tall, 17 3/4 inches deep, 25.5 inches wide.
Shelves: 25 inches wide, 14.5 inches deep. Height between shelves can be adjusted to your liking as needed in a few different positions.
Overall this is a quality cabinet that met my expectations of durable and easy to assemble storage and exceeded them in it's appearance. I was very pleased with the rattan look, they pulled it off well.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Faisal Rust and scratch Free, looks nice
I am using this cabinet in my garage and it has been working out great. Its 25â width made it very easy for me to place it exactly where I wanted it. It is 100% plastic with no rust and scratches to worry about. Assembly instructions were simple with clear illustrations and all parts were labelled for easy construction. Itâs like putting together a Lego set that took half hour to complete. Double check the part numbers before snapping into place because it is difficult to unsnap.
Doorâs interlaced pattern adds a lot to its overall appearance which extends its usability with patio furniture unlike metallic garage cabinets.
The shelves can be adjusted for various heights depending on the storage needs and each shelf can carry up to 50 lbs. maximum. Itâs padlock capable which I find very useful if storing chemicals in it. My garageâs clutter is now organized and that makes me happy. I am all for it.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by PJCC Utilitarian 5 shelf storage unit, lightweight & ez for a Diyer to move
This was my second Keter storage unit. After the first one,
it was easy to assemble, all the parts snapped together quickly. No defective pieces.
The rattan faux finish is only on the two front doors, I was disappointed in that. I have Rattan furniture and plastic woven furniture designed to appear like rattan, this is a simple fake rattan appearing plastic. In this instance that works for me.
The size is small enough to move through a bedroom door. I'm using it as temporary clothing storage while I redo the bedroom. I moved it myself, the plastic did scratch when I knocked it against the wooden door frame, pictured. Plastic does have a cheap appearance, but if you intend on moving storage frequently when painting different rooms, the lightweight storage cannot be beat by any other material!
After a few weeks of cats using this as a bed and lookout tower, the surface does not hold cat hair. it cleans easily. Both are attractive features in a multi-pet environment.
This will blend attractively with my woven faux rattan patio furniture, but clean better because it is faux flat plastic without a weave. The multiple shelves, 5 of them, make it useful for craft storage.
The doors open and stay closed even without a lock.
A simple plastic child's lock can be used to secure the doors.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by ToolTimeTony Vinyl Tall Outdoor storage with adjustable shelves
Cabinet arrived nicely packed. Assembly was easy and took about 30 minutes. No tools required, as pieces snap together. Cabinet is tall (72 inches) and is 24 inches wide. While stable, if placing in windy location I would strongly recommend anchoring the cabinet to prevent blow over. It is constructed 100 percent from vinyl pieces. Dark brown in color with doors in rattan look. Doors snap shut securely, have a mechanism to keep them from opening to far, and also have a provision to lock if you add a padlock (not included). It comes with four shelves fully adjustable. Only difficulty in assembly was getting the shelves to snap into place and securing with the rear mount. He rear mount is what holds most of the load, and it needs to lock into the shelf, which is a very tight fit and proved difficult for one person. Shelves have a 25 pound weight limit, and overall this is more a light to medium duty storage unit. I would not recommend heavy loading. Overall, its a fairly attractive unit, however it does have that plastic "look", especially from the rear. I plan on using mine for poolside storage. Fairly watertight but a slight chance for rain to sneak in between the doors.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by HGTVFAN Storage is Power
What I mean is that when there are things all over the place, I feel defeated. This Rattan cabinet is a great alternative to loose things on the garage floor. I will finish loading it soon. The assembly was easy once we figured out what we were looking for. Did not need any tools. Everything snapped together. We would have liked written instructions. There were only pictures. But we did it.
